First, you need to be sure of what you're doing before you introduce others to it. This doesn't apply to only Bitcoin but to everything in general. This is how a lot of people lead their loved ones into scams unwittingly.

For you to know that Bitcoin can be trusted then you have to have convinced yourself. When you ask questions like these, everybody just gives their own opinion. You should carry out your own research and understand the behaviors of Bitcoin over the years, know its history, only that can answer your question.
This is a place where most of us are lovers of bitcoin so you won't know if we will give you answers without sentiments. So carry out your own research, and study it. Know how far it has come to get to this point, know the setbacks it has faced, and how it handled those setbacks.

A friend of mine came to me and we were having a conversation and I was trying to introduce he to the forum, but he turns out that I was asked if I really trust and believe in bitcoin it will never crash like other cypto industry.

I want know if it will not crash and I need help to convince him about it that it will not crash because am a beginner and I haven't know much about bitcoin so I guess been here I will fine help to assist my friend to join the forum.
It's hard to convince someone if he doesn't have the intention to learn what you're telling. To attract someone's interest in the subject you are telling must be supported by data and facts, you need to show the history of Bitcoin prices from year to year to your friends.
Bitcoin has experienced a crash, but was able to recover and be able to stand upright. Just leave him with his stance, when your friend is starting to be interested in Bitcoin, he will come to you to teach him how to have Bitcoin.

Confidence in anything will be formed when you and anyone know him, that's how logic is formed in trusting anything. Trust in Bitcoin will be far more formed when you have the capital to buy it and store it as a long -term investment. Sometimes we need to think simple for something we trust and will be in vain when we believe but never want to be involved in investment.

Don't make sure people that Bitcoin will not crash but instead tell your friends about Bitcoin votality in the market, so they can learn to understand how to solve the impact of risk when they are in investment and give your friends understanding of Bitcoin's trip from the beginning of their appearance until now.

No asset or investment can provide a high return and safe. Bitcoin offers higher returns than any other asset, so it comes with a higher risk of all. If someone doesn't want to take the risk or can't take the risk, I strongly advise against giving them bitcoin investment advice. Tell them that if they want big success, they need to take big risks.

Besides the volatility of bitcoin, we should also make it clear to everyone the risks of investing in bitcoin. Bitcoin is a new asset class, not yet recognized by many people, so the risk is quite high, the possibility of crashing or losing everything when investing in it is always present.

Well I have put a lot of trust in my Bitcoin investment. It is my only investment so in many years I think I will be very happy that I did not sell any of my coins when there was a lot of fomo being spread on here and on the internet.
I do not think that Bitcoin will crash very low. But yes I am quite sure there is going to be many corrections still ahead of us. We must be patient with this and just know there are many years of profit and big gains for us who are patient.
But yes it is a good idea for your friend to join forum. If he does not want to join he can at least read up on Bitcoin. It is not for everyone but I think he will want to invest in it himself.

it is true that we must be patient in dealing with situations like this, and then one day we will get what has become our patience.
we are not going anywhere, we are here to face market situations under any circumstances, and we will be together too if bitcoin goes up that's what current holders might think.

believe in Bitcoin because Bitcoin will change the world, especially now that Bitcoin is still cheap,
because many predictions from experts say bitcoin will be worth $ 100k and even up to $ 300k,
so why should you be afraid to invest in bitcoin? bitcoin will still be trusted so don't worry.

I trust Bitcoin as much as a cat trusts a cucumber. It may cause a momentary surprise, but in the grand scheme of things, we're in it for the long haul  Cool Cool

Bitcoin is designed with a complex algorithm and until now it has not been solved, I often hear that currently there are companies funded by haters and trying to destroy bitcoin, of course, before bitcoin is worthless we have received many benefits or profits.

I can guarantee you that there is nothing more trustworthy than bitcoin too. I mean we are talking about bitcoin here, if you trust it to someone else then you are not going to get it back. So it is a tricky subject, yes if it is at a safe place you own and you are not sharing it with anyone then you are not going to lose much, that will be something decent and you should keep doing that, but that also doesn't mean that you are going to end up with anything more than that neither, you are going to just keep it there.

But, if you do start sharing with it other places, and I say "share" because even when you put it in an exchange, you and the exchange share the ownership a bit. Then you are going to end up with a trouble so it is not going to be easy for anyone.

If you entrust Bitcoin to centralized exchanges we cannot talk about security but we all move Bitcoin to centralized exchanges from time to time and trade in sudden price fluctuations. So just because we share Bitcoin does not mean that BTC is not secure.

This is a difficult subject and it is impossible for us to end the discussion about it. But we are talking about a proven entity and i think there is no point in arguing.

It will crash again but there's no guarantee on when it will happen. The simple answer is that no one controls Bitcoin price and it's most trusted cryptocurrency among all other coins or tokens out there in the market. I think joining him in this forum is a bold move and I think a great start for him to know more about Bitcoin, glad you have think about that.

of course Bitcoin is very trusted, even though the price of Bitcoin has fallen deeply from its new ATH of $ 65k,
Bitcoin is able to stay above $ 20k, meaning that this level is very strong and can even go up to $ 30k,
especially next year Bitcoin will do a Halving where Bullrun has been getting closer, it's the same as 2021,
and 2024 many people predict Bitcoin will reach $ 100k even $ 200k.
Definitely, I mean Bitcoins are now in existence for more than a decade. People still asking these silly questions that is it trusted? I guess this question raised due to the price drop of the coin from 69k usd to 20k usd? If this is so, then my dear friends don’t know that how crypto space works. Nevertheless we have seen what are Bitcoins capable of, so no matter what the other person says, we should stick to the basic goal. Accumulate as many bitcoins as we can and hold it for long term.

It's important to conduct thorough research and understand the risks associated with Bitcoin before engaging with it. As with any investment, it's wise to exercise caution, diversify your portfolio, and seek advice from financial professionals if needed.
Overall, trust in Bitcoin is subjective and depends on individual perspectives, risk tolerance, and understanding of the technology. While Bitcoin has gained popularity and acceptance over the years, it's crucial to approach it with informed decision-making and an awareness of the potential risks involved.

so what does "crash" mean by your friend? if what is meant by a crash is a significant price drop, yes bitcoin will crash and we call it a bearish or bear market. but if "crash" means the price goes to 0 and the volume goes to 0, I don't think it will ever happen. maybe your friend often sees many crypto projects that become dead projects and think bitcoin is the same as that project which can also be a dead project.

Its important to separate what we're talking about, price by itself is not something determined within the blockchain.  The price when its in dollars is heavily traded entirely outside of crypto markets, does BTC have to bare any responsibility for what price occurs in Chicago or anywhere else.    There is alot of volatility, this crash idea of course is out there but please separate it in your mind from the reliability of BTC itself.     Price and the asset or commodity itself are different dynamics to consider, prices for alot of things can be erratic.   The price of plain food recently has been hijacked and disrupted by wars and interference with large transportation from producers, do we say now that wheat or corn is a bad food because of this.

Do be cautious but keep all seperate ideas in your consideration.

Bitcoin has a strong security system so we rarely hear about cases of hacked wallets, many people tell of losing bitcoin assets but what they use are wallets from exchanges, and what gets hacked are accounts from these exchanges, even so we must always be vigilant and always follow procedures wallet security.
Actually wallets can also be hacked if someone uses a software wallet from an untrusted source because now there are many software wallets that can be used to store Bitcoins. But not all of them can be suitable for use if the source is not trusted or they are born from an unknown source, so this has not only happened through exchanges but has also happened through software wallets used by users who may not know that the wallet is not good.
As said wallets from exchanges and untrusted platforms is always risky. We don't know when they'll wind up and run. When it comes to bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, we should not get into it just after someone's words. We should put our efforts and understand before getting into it. This way you can have the basic understanding which is a must to keep everything secure and in an organised way.

Yes, bitcoin can be trusted; if it couldn't, many of us on the forum would have given it up long ago since we wouldn't have needed to get involved with something we couldn't trust.

I want know if it will not crash and I need help to convince him about it that it will not crash because am a beginner and I haven't know much about bitcoin so I guess been here I will fine help to assist my friend to join the forum.
Anything volatile is expected to crash in the future. That crash will determine its durability and stability in the market.

A previous crash of bitcoin occurred between 2018 and 2021, and following that crash, bitcoin recovered strongly. That is what we have seen or heard from its past crashes and it is making us not feel worried when there is a crash in price occurred.

Bitcoin has demonstrated to us on numerous occasions that even if its price drops, we shouldn't be concerned and should instead stockpile more because there is a chance that its value will rise again.

Generally speaking about things you don't know much about can cause you to pass on false information. Your friend is asking you such a question and if you don't know the answer, you should research it yourself first. You can have an idea by asking questions, but it would be more beneficial for you to research and learn on your own. You don't have to answer your friend right away. If you learn and research Bitcoin, your answers are more solid.

It is very much advisable not to be in a rush to invite a friend to what you don't really understand. You needed to spend more years here and in bitcoin and atleast understand how things work yourself before you invite anyone. It won't be a good experience when your close friend lose money because of you.

You are wrong

Bitcoin security system which is PoW is for the security of the bitcoin network which doesn’t cover an ordinary investor. There are many cases of wallet hacking, and it is easy when to accomplish when your device is compromised.
