..everything is possible if you have the will to make it real..but for bitcoin,,going to the fact that it will become worthless is impossible because their are a lot of Bitcoin believers trying to make Bitcoin the first class cryptocurrency in the universe..

My answer is a swift & painful drop to zero.

In a MarketWatch column, I wrote last May-June, I thought what it would take for bitcoin to become worthless. Bitcoin is getting close to that point. once Bitcoin’s price falls below its cost of mining, the incentive to mine will deteriorate, thrusting bitcoin into a death spiral. Because the ledger that maintains the records of who owns what — bitcoin is, after all, a set of encrypted numbers that cannot establish the ownership of anything — bitcoin will become worthless.

yes you are right crypto has been running for 10 years and definitely has millions of investors so it will be very difficult if bitcoin will become worthless. as long as the number of crypto and bitcoin users is still a lot of bitcoin will still be a valuable digital asset. and there will be no new coins that can replace the position of bitcoin. bitcoin is the king in cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin has gained the trust of crypto users and investors and is now set as a standard for measurement of value for the crypto market and for some coins (exchange pairing). There are new developments like the Blockstream Satellites and Lighting Network which are yet to reach their full potentials in order to improve the Bitcoin Blockchain - this will boost further the value of Bitcoin on the market.

It's highly unlikely that miners will stop mining bitcoin. The mining farms will never leave this gold off their operations, it's precious to them now and even built large facilities just for the sake of mining. This is real money and they will never invest large amount of money like millions of dollars for those facilities if it wasn't so profitable and has no potential and the bitcoin they bought wasn't even included with that amount. If someone believes that bitcoin can be worthless, I understand that you are not believing with it and the technology it has. Yes, it's possible in the future but not too soon and near.

Bitcoin can be worthless if nobody uses this and if it will be abandoned in the market. But for now, I don't think so. People are just started to adopt crypto and most specifically for bitcoin as they considered this one as a valuable asset at this time. Its value continue to rises, and therefore we could think that it won't be easily to become worthless coin in the market rather than for some altcoins.
