Bitcoin can only assist in reducing the level of poverty but not to eradicate it completely. It is left with the government of a given country to put in place good policies that will enhance the equitable distribution of scarce resources, until this is done, then poverty can never be eradicated.
We just have to be honest with ourselves, not everyone who invest in bitcoin will make it through bitcoin. The Bitcoin market is highly volatile, and not many will understand how the market works and how to follow it up. It is not all the people that will benefit from and Bitcoin will not reduce everyone from poverty but for those who are lucky and come to it and invest in it. And anyone who thinks Bitcoin will make them to become rich for over night will be disappointed. Bitcoin nis for all but not all will benefit from it. I will not say Bitcoin can't reduce poverty because many have benefited from it and Bitcoin has created a lot of millionaires and billionaires. Please enlighten me as to how the gap between the rich and the poor has been filled by Bitcoin. My knowledge base says it cannot be done as 1 Bitcoin cannot be bought by a poor. If a poor gets money and tries to buy Bitcoin in small amounts, the next issue a poor guys will face is the sudden increase in Bitcoin transaction fee, which can go upto $40 in the current situation.
Don't bluff! Give facts to counter your reply as without facts nothing seems convincing. My observation is that Bitcointalk forum can get a poor person out of poverty, if he/she has the ability to grow in the forum. Without this forum many here would have achieved nothing. I don't think the bad road would be a valid reason for anyone to not to go to their state to celebrate Christmas, and I don't know how much it costs in foreign countries, but in my country, the majority is Muslim and by this info, you can assume that those who celebrate Christmas don't celebrate at the level at which other countries celebrate, it's not that our culture is stopping them. There are many countries present which due to the poverty haven’t tested the presence of internet. In these types of countries introducing Bitcoins will be really tough. They are unable to get the basic necessities, they won’t easily trust on the coins if also it is introduced. Poverty can be eradicated only through smart work. I am sure that smart people are already investing in the coin in order to come out of the poverty.
