State economies are mostly based on FIRST transactions, leaving only tiny space for other currencies. If Bitcoin transactions were to be more accessible and widespread there would perhaps be interest in making them taxable. But in most countries, taxing BTC transactions depends solely on the honesty of the parties involved. So that's not that much of a benefit for a country's economy.

I don´t know exactly how it works, I guess it depends of the country. It´s true that goverments can´t tax bitcoin transactions but they can tax purchases made with bitcoin. For example, a company that accepts bitcoin makes a sale with this currency that they have to declare to the tax authority, the company would be taxed for this sale, they wouldn´t pay with bitcion but with the local currency. There are APIs that allow merchants to make sales with bitcoin and those coins are converted automatically to their local currency. It´s one example. At the end bitcoin is money, if you create an enviroment where people use bitcoin everyday it will will bring movement of money and economic activity.

Yes bitcoin can bring changes that might improve a country's economy and it can be done if a decent number of people there are using bitcoin even if its just for their secondary use .

As for the reasons why a certain country's government accepts it as a form of currency, Both reasons that Op mentioned are valid but its not enough as there  are still many factors that can be considered such as its features and of course that can be both beneficial and not,  It depends on how will they handle it.

definitely accepting bitcoin for them it's no real different than accepting the help of other country, every government with a brain should accept bitcoin, if they want more money injection in their country

think about it, the marketcap of bitcoin is due to many people around the world building, therefore it's like those other country are indirectly helping the one accepting bitcoin, by buying bitcoin for theirselves and making the price higher

obviously their buying would help other country also, it's a cooperation between everyone buying, accepting and using it

yes sir you are probably correct, if only they would know this, I think people will eat 3 times a day, but they need to educate them first and then introduce thes to them, education is all they need to know this, it is the powerful investment of all.

Today many countries accept bitcoin as a virtual currency,
There is only one example of a country where BTC is fully legalized payment tender - Japan.

is it because bitcoin is so high that they think bitcoin can change the country's economy, or because the country has many bitcoin users already?
Japan is a bit peculiar case, they like to be ahead of the curve in new technology adoption, plus their economy was battling with deflation for a very long time.
Actually 2017 is the first year where Yen started to inflate after couple years of deflation. They wanted to create some incentive for people to spend money.
Negative interest rates seemed like a dead end - introducing Bitcoin, a new way to spend fiat money on, was a great move for this country.

I believe that Bitcooin can n ot improve the economy of a country since many people can hide from the government and can not be collected tax. It will make thee country more awful

Not always bitcoin can improve the economy of the country. In many countries, money for taxes goes to the pocket of rulers and improves only their condition, not the economy.

I don't think so. a country's economy mostly depends on trade and what it offers to other countries as well as the coubtry's stability and security. I don't think the type of currency will have that much significant effect on an economy.

Bitcoin can improve the economy of the country if their citizens will become a bitcoin enthusiast. Because the more users it has is the more benefits that it can get, meaning if there's a higher demand it will be favor into the economy of the country of course. and for sure more merchants will decide to adopt the system of bitcoin.
correctly said, if most citizens of a country start to use bitcoin it can open up the economy to new business opportunities for them and make them independent and also help reduce a country's corrupt practices as all bitcoin transactions can be publicly seen

First of all a country gets most of its money mostly from taxes, we all know that bitcoin is decentralized no one can't control it and it's also pseudonymous it means that the government couldn't trace someone behind that address moreover there are many ways out there to securing and improving the anonymity of our transaction, However, some sectors in cryptoworld like exchanger and the transaction of their members could be taxed, as long as you're hiding your identity in using bitcoin you will not have to pay taxes. So for those reasons I might say that bitcoin can't improve the economy of a country instead of making government couldn't track the taxpayer.

Yes true, with bitcoin then all the transaction becomes faster and cheaper, I'm sure if bitcoin applied legally then make improve the economy of a country.

Things with bitcoin are good now, yet once it is implemented in each country for sure there will be a big change in the economy, it will be a good change for sure and it will improves its transaction problem now and we hope for small amount of fee.

Yes bitcoin can improve the economy of a country if there is a lot of bitcoin user there. Bitcoin can help the economy of the country if the people there will build a business that is related to bitcoin or accept bitcoin as their payment method and the bitcoin users there will use their bitcoins to buy stuffs to the stores that accepts bitcoin as a payment then it will grow the gross income of a country that will help the economy.

Agree . Economy of that country will boost because of that . Also those people who are using bitcoin or earning somebitcoin it could help with their life  on purchasing or buying some of foods or what they want. Also if that would happen sort of most of the people on that country is able to eat 3 times a day it could be considered that they are not poor and that will lead for the success of their country

That would be the very probable reason why some countries are accepting bitcoin now as a mode of payment. Can you imagine how much can a country earn from accepting bitcoin? By accepting bitcoin from other country is a big help for the economy of the receiving country. It is just like a citizen of country A works on country B then send the earned money to country A. That will surely reflect to the economy of a country and that analogy is somewhat similar in terms of accepting bitcoin.

people are always in hurry to  take such decisions and in fact most of the decisions are not really good. like investing on something which we don't understand clearly is the first biggest mistake. after that not checking about any stat or without verifying the dealers deal with them its the second mistake. and the third one is they try to start some illegal methods to earn fast cash. all these points are decreasing the level of improvement in a country. That clearly means bitcoin is not only sufficient to improve a countries economy.

I think that even though the government can not get taxes from bitcoin, but presence of bitcoin can improve the economy in the country, because bitcoin functions that many benefits are created for both online and real business opportunities.

No it won't help the economy in anyway as government won't be earning anything if people start using bitcoin in the economy. Even if government imposes taxes it will be really hard for government to track every single transaction and because of this many people can easily boycott taxes. Third in order to track every single bitcoin transaction it can be costly for the government.
Having bitcoin in the economy is a good idea but replacing fiat with bitcoin isn't a good idea at all.

if all the transactions will be conducted from it and all the others methods of transection will be converted to bitcoin. i think this will improve its economy in some sense but it is difficult and i am not seeing this happening in near future.
