I think not, at least not very soon. People need paper money to buy stuff and pay daily expenses. Things may change in the future, of course, but right now people still rely on the banking system.
Yes you are right people still need bank to save their money. Fiat is realy needed in this day becouse the most people in the world are using fiat as a currency although the value of the fiat us decreased every years. So I think bitcoin will not make bank dissapear.

Actually, at the moment already exists many users who feel better using both payment systems, rather than using a single form of payment. As Bitcoin reaches more stability and its technology is recognized by more people, these people are likely to start using Bitcoin more often, as people tend to use what works more efficiently.
yes there might be time when bitcoin and other digital currency will rule the financial sector and we will have no paper currency or something that we are using now. one can predict that progressively money is getting changed. so definitely something new will rule the planet
If you are from the average bitcointalk user age range (so somewhere across the 20 to 40 year old age range, and im admittedly puling this statistic out my ass but I asume that is a reasonable range) then it's likely we will see the end of the banking industry as a whole, the whole concept of bank will change radically in the next decades because of bitcoin being able to be your own bank.

There will come a time when solar flares disrupt the electrical grid and electronic money will disappear. Fiat will go down at the same time, because it is electronic money.
I don't buy the solar flare apocalypse scenario at all, I think it's sci fi and not realistic. All that will happen is simply a period of certain parts of the earth going shut down but we will have a backup plan to function with stored energy by then.
In any case as soon as energy comes back the bitcoin system still works.

Be realistic, bitcoin wont replace fiat, we are changing into the digital era, and on the next years we will be doing anything with our phones or computers, the world is connected, now its a question of time till those change, banks are providing several services online already, they are following the market, and they will improve together, bitcoin cant replace them, as the services provided by the banks is quite away from bitcoin potencial.

The bank does not create money. The bank simply makes sure that your money is secure. I wonder what would happen to banks when people start to not use fiat any longer. It will only lead to financial loss when people aren't interested in using their service anymore considering the fact that they have a wide workplace. They spend a lot of money paying for all of those employees and if no one's using their service, they would have to remove some employees until eventually shut the whole bank down. I think people will keep using fiat as long as fiat is accepted worldwide in exchange of good and services... is that simple.
Of course, people is going to hate the fact that physical cash will be removed. Everyone likes to use physical cash, so once it disappears, they will find out that the only thing similar left in the world will be bitcoin, I think on that moment is when we will explode in marketcap.

The people would not leave banks with the establishing of bitcoins, as the bank do not only for saving or investment of public fiats. Nowadays the banks have a major role in state finance also. All the state finances are controlled and regulated in state banks.
Banks is here because it is secure and it will secure our savings as it is legally operating, bitcoin on the other hand is just like an investment for me since the price is volatile and it has been increasing in the past few days and that's why bitcoin is called valuable and it will grow the value of your money. Never put your money all in bitcoin although it's very profitable by the chance of losing is also big. 
The people would not leave banks with the establishing of bitcoins, as the bank do not only for saving or investment of public fiats. Nowadays the banks have a major role in state finance also. All the state finances are controlled and regulated in state banks.
banks are ruling the whole world since many years , after the country concuring each other its banks war started and today we can see their real result but thanks to satoshi he finally put a choice in our hands we are now free to use the money wherever we want to . banks can not give these fesilitys ever but sadly banks will not disappear with such small insident
The power of bitcoin is big, but not big. I think in the end banks will develop their own bitcoin and force it onto their customers. Problem is they must make it way cheaper else people will still go with bitcoin.
