We can say that bitcoin's influence on the world's financial ecosystem is significant. Banks will not disappear in the nearest future but cryptocurrencies can change the way they work.

Bitcoin cannot make banks disappear.
A bank is a place where transactions are made, and if bitcoin becomes globally known and accepted, it can be adopted into the banking system such that you can go to the bank and actually make transactions with it. Just like you have it in other currencies.

Uniquely, bitcoin will not make the banks disappear. Just the time will come when all banks will understand that without the use of crypto currency they can not exist, therefore they either adapt or close. Well it's obvious, because you need to adjust to progress. Of course, the cryptocurrency is changing the entire financial market.
I somehow agree on this. The telephone companies didn't disappear when the mobile phones took place about a decade ago, same as the USPS when emails took place in the 90s... I guess the banks would join the bandwagon once they realize that majority of people are patronizing it.

It seems that experts say that Bitcoin 'Here to Stay,' But Banks Could Disappear.

"TheStreet: How do you think FinTech will impact the way banks operate?

Frank Schwab: Banks either react on, or they will disappear. Anyway, the consolidation of the banking industry accelerates as the behaviour of people changes. Some banks will benefit from [FinTech], some will be pushed to the back end, and some will disappear."

I think that it would not happen. Even though bitcoin will be really successful in the future and might beat the banks in terms of faster and cheaper transactions, it still cannot attract a big number of clients. Because not all people has already understood the use of bitcoin. They are not yet educated about the very use of bitcoin. And without the proper endorsement of the government, bitcoin will not yet be legalized.

If bitcoin transactions continue to increase and larger than the bank then it will be a threat to the bank and could make the bank disappear. but for the near future it seems difficult to achieve, it took at least 10 years to make the bank disappear.

Yeah, maybe it'll happen soon. Cause the number of country that legalize Bitcoin is increasing and when a government legalize Bitcoin in their country that mean there will be a lot of troubles that Banks will have to front cause it's really hard for any Bank to make a decision that accept Bitcoin in their Bank or not cause if they accept it they will have to have enough ability to control it but as I know to totally control is not easy that why Bitcoin is not legalized worldwide. Beside, IMO Bitcoin owner will not send their Bitcoin to bank cause there are a lot of ways for them to keep their Bitcoin safe without banking and they also prefer use their Bitcoin to invest in trading or something else like that to send it to bank to receive monthly interest.

The bank may disappear, due to the spread of bitcoin. Most people use bitcoin and often the bank is unnoticed. There are only two differences between them. Bitcoin is the only money that you hide there is a possibility to increase due to its increasing cryptocurrency value. More precisely compared to the bank that often scams and scams credit in bank accounts. So the bank may lose if they do not fix the security that should be deposited in their bank. In bitcoin you're confident because you know you'll find it harder to scam anymore.

Banks are not entirely going to disappear at all, Though through bitcoins, lots of banks have lost many of their customers and we all know that without their customers, these bankers lose money. There will continue to be banks as long as employers insist to pay their employees in banks that thy save at.

Banks will not disappear. Now they try to ban bitcoin, but in the end they will adapt. Russia announced to ban bitcoin trading sites, big dogs fromWall Street cursing bitcoins, while they all want to grab their share and make big money.

You are wrong. Banks will never dissappear just because of bitcoin awareness. There are things and services that only banking does have compare to what bitcoin ca give to us. You also wrong that you are confident because it will not likely to get scam in bitcoin. Remember that to truly used bitcoin in it's extent and usages, we must used the services of exchanges. Because of that it was have the same idea of using banks.

Im using banking services for long time now and a bitcoin enthusiast. If you know the differences and advantages of using them there will be no room for comparison here.

No I don’t think that bitcoin can make banks to disappear in the near future for sure because. Firstly, banks are continuously controlled by the central government which results in increasing its stability in the market. On the other hand bitcoin is not controlled by any government, which makes results in decreasing of its stability. Secondly the prices of a currency remains constant and rarely changes. On the other hand there are sudden drops or sudden increase in prices of bitcoin, which is also an example why people prefer currency over bitcoin.

I don't think so. Because every bank has a huge capital and people's involvement, so they are always trying to give the better service for their consumer. I believe when they feel threaten for the Bitcoin then they will try to be marged with this system and they will try to survive by any chance.

Bitcoin actually requires banks as a second party for users. Because bitcoin will only remain an alternative to our financial transactions and not priorities.

Yes if many trust in bitcoin it can make Bank system end Because bitcoin is better than bank system with golobal send and small fee + no ID needed

No Id needed? Do you think if the banks dissapear the governments will let the people use bitcoin without any identification cards? And if the banks dissapear because of bitcoin, what will happen to people who barely know bitcoin and do not have that knowledge in technologies, let alone bitcoin.
