Can bitcoin really do anything to solve world poverty problem? Brian Singer certainly think so. He thinks that Bitcoin can bring minimum everyday earning for people more swiftly than any other economy system.

Is it possible?

No! It is impossible. Bitcoin is not the key to end the world poverty because it is not the task of the bitcoin. Bitcoin is a digital currency which we can use to pay our bills and expenses but there is advantages and benefits that bitcoin can give to the people in our community

Bitcoin can help many people in poverty line but i believe that it cannot end the world poverty, because not everyone has an access to it and not everyone is educated enough to be involve in bitcoin. Also, not everyone is open minded about bitcoin. I believe that as long as there are still many corrupt government official the world cannot be save from poverty. Kindhearted leaders are the key to end the worlds poverty.

Truly Bitcoin can end poverty but not all,  it can only reduce the Numbers of poverty around the countries reasoning because not everyone that have hard about BTC or have the knowledge it. Secondly if that is possible,  not all that are computer literate. Thirdly if that is also posible not all that can afford standby power in most of the countries. If that is also possible not all that can afford to subscribe.

It's not only bitcoin that's needed to end poverty. Not every people needs to be investors. Image that all of us are investors or businessmen. No one will be working as in a job. We still need workers who needs to be employed in companies. Not everyone can be sellers, there should also be buyers.

This is a very intriguing question! Bitcoin as well all know has improved many lives all around the world but how about poverty? There is a possibility that bitcoin can because it can minimize the population of poor people but not all of them because not all can't afford internet connnection and I can say that internet tends to limit bitcoins availability. So all in all if everyone can have internet connection maybe it can end poverty but if not it will just limit.

Why can bitcoin solve poverty?
It's completely unrealistic. You need to buy bitcoins by fiat money, and someone who makes money means someone loses money, which is a zero-sum game.

No, I don't think it's possible. Maybe it can reduce the number of people facing poverty but not really to end the 'poverty' itself. Bitcoin is really helpful in terms of gaining profits but it can't end poverty since not all people believes and uses bitcoin. The only solution to end poverty is the people themselves.

I don't think all virtual currencies can generate real wealth. Only a few people become rich through bitcoin. Most of them will still lose money, just like stocks. A small number of people earn some money and most of them lose money.

Even though bitcoin is widely used, the problem of large gap between the rich and the poor can still exist in the world and it is impossible to completely eliminate poverty. This is not a currency that can be solved.

I don't think bitcoin  will end poverty because poor people can't buy bitcoin and nobody will never donate bitcoin to the poor.

Poor people will be able to save money if they use Bitcoins. For example, if they use Bitcoins for remittance services, then they will be able to avoid the huge fees charged by Western Union and Moneygram. Also, if they store their savings in the form of Bitcoins, then they can avoid the maintenance charges from the banks.

Not really to end World Poverty, maybe reduce the percentage of World Poverty. Most of the poor, have no educational background. Usually they didn't believe easy to people specially in terms of investment because for them Money is Treasure and they needed it.

But if bitcoin can donate in a charity, which cater the poor people to educate them, may be that is the time that the bitcoin end the world poverty. Because the Education is all we needs to end poverty.

I do not think bitcoin can end poverty in the world. There is always poverty and wealth. Because of them, they always worry about their livelihoods and their lives. They have financial problems, property to invest in long-term bitcoin. I think bitcoin will reduce the unemployment rate in the world. It is generating interest from them every single day.

no it cannot end poverty, the thing is, if we are talking about the capacity to trade, it can only bring money to common people who are educated or privileged ones, one who has an internet access, and one whose country are accepting bitcoin payments and trading. poor people has no internet in their homes, did not even set foot on schools, has no electricity in their homes, which is why there are poverty, lack of privileged people, but here's the good thing about bitcoin, you can send bitcoins to some non-government organizations and agency that helps people who are poor and needy. if all rich bitcoin holders donates some of their money, then we can say bitcoin will and can end poverty.

It is certainly possible though! a lot of surveys tells so, different views which tackles that every bit of salary consumed by the consumers is slowly increasing its rate, making the people with no job can find one!

Bitcoin in itself is just a (digital) currency, when has a currency ended world poverty? However I believe that blockchain technology as a whole can play a role to reduce world poverty, especially in countries like India. The majority of the population earns less than 3 $/day. At the same time it is known for it's experts in IT so I am sure that especially in large cities as Delhi where the internet is accessible you already have people who were able to improve their living conditions just by applying for airdrops and bounties if not developing new blockchain projects. Just some thoughts though without proper research yet.

the first thing i remind you that bitcoin is currency like others fiat currency. so, can money's end poverty? yes, it can. when we talk about poverty we should know about the poverty line, the new global poverty line is set at $1.90 per a day per a person. depend on that poverty line, if every poor people have BTC0,1 i guess their income already exceed the poverty line, in other words that is the end of poverty. but how can the poor people get bitcoin while the prices is so high???....
