once enough buying power makes its move to break the $500 price level, it will most likely rise further to reach a top (at that point) of $530-$550 before possibly testing the $500 level again. i am quite sure this will happen before the block halving.

I actually don't want the price to go up that high. I haven't finished yet with acquiring BTC.

Also if it does go up that high it's probably a speculative bubble, which is bad for the community. I'd rather it go up in $10 or even $5 increments per week, or even per month, rather than a sudden surge in price.

I think it can rise up to $800 after halving but sometimes its wondering to my mind that the price will not change and the price will always stay to 400 to 450 after halving.. Lets hope it will happen so that we can make more profit if it will happen..

I have heard this for the first time. Usually when the price goes to very low levels people tend to say that something is wrong, but not when the price goes up. Cheesy

Realistically I also expext $600 to be somewhat of a barrier for this year.

$800 is achievable by the end of the year, but who knows we can see this price even at the time of halving, but its really difficult to predict what will be exact scenario at the time of halving.

Have you been around last November and have you seen what happened when the price reached oversold territory at $500?
Why would be different this time? Halving is just an excuse for organising a pump, because as such it shouldn't cause the price to rise. After this halving already 75% of all coins will be mined and thus can be used to drive the price down.

800 seem to be a little too optimistic. But anything around the 600 dollars is what i will be aiming for.
There could be a downfall back to 350 but that is not likely.

800 USD will be too hard, remember we are just a little over the half. No way bitcoin will double this year. But reaching a solid and stable point at 500 seems very likely to me.
