I don't get your point. First of all BCC is just an alt coin and can't do anything with bitcoins. Second try to look at price i suggest you to Google it  "USD to BTC" you will find the result. The price is double now and increasing day by day. So you don't need to worry about it . If you are thing that BCC will take on bitcoin or even come near to bitcoin price, then you are wrong. Original Bitcoin will stay always and BCC and Bitcoin Gold will just be alts of the future.

I am sure even though there is already BitcoiN Cash and there will be bitcoiN Gold I am sure, bitcoiN prices will continue and still go up, because now it's difficult for miners to rise significantly, therefore I'm still sure bitcoin going to the moon. at least can be in the figure $ 5000 at the end of this year or until 2018.

Obviously, Bitcoin will survive for a long time. day by day bitcoin is becoming a familiar and popular platform for making the profit very easily. so people usually find that type of profitable platform. not only that Bitcoin currency already has got accepted in many platforms. so there should not have any confusion regarding Bitcoin future.

Why do you want Bitcoin dying? There are several altcoins based on Bitcoin and Bitcoin is still here. There are several GNU/Linux based on Debian and Debian is still here rocking solid. And we are currently in a period quite volatile, I watched BCC it's just horrible lol. In the following weeks Bitcoin will show its true power and everyone will recognize it as the super power Grin
I like the version of your statement which says in a few weeks bitcoin will show its true power. It's indeed true as many people are holding BCC no so the price seems to be high. But if people get access to their BCC which most are wondering how to get them, they will sell them for bitcoins and then...
Definitely bitcoin will be boosted twice the current price provided every holder of BCC now will dump them Smiley
My advice is that trade with caution, thanks

Bitcoin is here to stay my friend. No altcoin will kill bitcoin anytime soon.
People will forever trust bitcoin more than any altcoin out there because of it name, value, market cap, and benchmark.

Altcoin kill Bitcoin, haha no altcoin can does that and only Bitcoin can alive till the end of the cryptocurrency world. I do not think we will have a lot of altcoins keep alive after the government start their policies for cryptocurrency.

I'm sure bitcoin after this will get a special price. in the sense that bitcoin will jump higher than before, remember bitcoin is the main character of all coins and nitcoin will not go extinct even though some coins want to beat.

Why not, bitcoin will survive. Because in the law of buying and selling if the goods are limited and rare it will be more expensive price and will be more sought after many people, as is happening now. Many people compete to get bitcoin so that in the future expect higher price, or they can be said to function bitcoin as an investment item

Two startups, Xapo and Surbtc, explained to their customers how they would handle the consensus change that’s just a few weeks away.
Xapo explains that when miners process block number 494784 a block between 1-2MB will be generated. The company wants its customers to know that just like when the bitcoin cash fork took place; Xapo users don’t have to do anything. As far as the startup’s policy with forks and defining the ‘real bitcoin’ it will let the hashrate decide. The exchange Surbtc explains they are pleased with this summers Segwit activation and would love to see “a small increment (2mb) in the size of a block.” However, the company believes wholeheartedly in the expertise of the bitcoin Core software developers.

Volatility will be always there. Perhaps, with time it will get more stronger. Do not forget that bitcoin is the first of its kind and there is a certain advantage for it. As long as it has some serious core developer team working on it, I believe sky is the limit.

What do you think about this?

I don't think parity is possible, meaning that, it's just impossible that both coins have the same price.

So judging from this premise, one of the two coins, will go down, or one of the two coins, will go up while the other one stays where it is at best, or goes down too.

If I had to bet, it's pretty obvious BTC is the winning coin. It has the Core devs on board, it's the legacy chain,

The problem is, Who is the real coin? who are Core devs you're referring to Garzik?

Quote
and it has segwit which is good, unless you subscribe to the anti-segwit conspiracy theories.

As far as I know after the segwit the new coin will have different software for running nodes and not bitcoin core who has contributed a lot in bitcoin developments, thought they can support it if they want to, Oh by the way, Aren't the Segwit2x supporters did a Backroom deal for a Invite only meeting at the hotel in Newyork?

I am still hoping everyone will come up with a good solutions on the issues for both sides, that the segwit2x will maintain bitcoin as it is a decentralized bitcoin with much faster confirmation and low transaction fees.

The question shouldn't be: will it survive? for me, it should be: how much will it be worth in 10 years? $100k $500k or less than $1k due to pressure from governments / bankers. or perhaps because a new crypto coin appears that is superior and more popular ...

Because of many users, popularity, numbers of investors, and many activities surely bitcoin can survive. The China banned the Btc and many countries wants to ban btc but what happened, bitcoin is fastly recovering from many circumstances that given by government, but people and investors from large companies were being helpful. The China banned bitcoin but recover fast so how much more the small countries. So surely bitcoin will survive.
Bitcoin is unstoppable and it will survive even there will be a lot of problems that will be faced by bitcoin. The community and the supports that bitcoin have is already enough to make its life longer and make its foundation stronger so it will become more well established and any problem that will be put in bitcoin will not caused big damage.
