If this happens you should not worry about bitcoin you should worry about your life.  Smiley

Imagine no internet connection, no electricity, no communications, earth will literally go offline. You cannot sell nor trade bitcoin. There will no water nor food. The world is totally dependent on technology. Prices of food and other needs could rise up to 1000 times. Loathing and killing could be everywhere. You can't call 911. Satellites and airplanes would be falling from the skies. Who would think about bitcoin if your survival in on the line?

In the events like this, satellites will be destroyed, electric grid will be knock down, most miners will be destroyed, Continental internet connections could stop. If some nodes survive it will create many forks around the world. It could take up to 10 years for the world to recover for the kind of strategy.

Well, solar flares cause all electronics to go offline and Bitcoin mining and distribution is heavily dependent on the Internet/electricity.

So, it would probably crash the price, but I don't think it would kill it entirely.

Earth was nearly hit by solar flare 2 years ago. It is been stated that there is 12 percent chance of being hit every ten years. Does bitcoin can survive against solar flare?
