Yes, it's possible because no one is safe from hackers since the beginning of computer technology. The only thing you can do is to protect your private key and don't ever show it to anyone. A lot of articles were already published on how to protect our wallets and other information against hackers.

I think there is a good possibillity that that can happen that is why i would reccomend to use a wallet like blockchain it is so secure that the hacker also needs to hack your phone to actually reach your wallet.

Definitely yes!
Black hat hackers have been stealing a great deal of digital currency.
Recently, A hacker stole $31,000,000 worth of ETH, from various multy-signature wallets.
The thieves could attack more wallets but some white hat hackers stopped them.
two way authentication might be suitable to avoid this sort of attack. Moreover, don't store
large amount of digital currency at one place. make portions and save it in different wallets.

can they hack into our wallet. There are many professional hackers out there. What are the chances? Also what is the safest way to safeguard ourself?

can
but it does not seem to be easy to hack online-based wallets, at least the makers of the wallet will do everything possible to prevent hacking.

Let us not under estimate hackers. Lets open the possibility that hackers may hack wallets. We do not know how much ability and skill they have. Every thing place in a computer is not as safe as we think.

That is right, everything in this place (internet) is not safe so if the hackers wants to hack your bitcoin wallet then they will find ways to do it and hackers are very creative so you might get victimize by them. Bitcoin wallets are safe but the only thing that is not safe is the users who are very vulnerable into different ways of hackers.

if for this problem I think it will be difficult, because if our wallet already in the hack it will be very difficult to track.
for handling we can give more security for wallet account.

i am looking into creating a paper wallet or a number of them when I accumulate enough bitcoin, i believe these are one of the safest ways to store bitcoin. i also have 2 factor autentication enabled on my desktop wallet and on bittrex. i like on coinbase that you can connect a mobile phone number to receive a verification number to enter the account.

Using an offline wallet to be more secure but never enough when there is a viciousness on mind, nothing will protect just trying to secure as possible.

Hackers can hack everything. To live too bad. You can die from it. Lol! Pay attention to the causes of the break-ins. In all cases, is primarily to blame yourself. If you always follow safety rules then it will be much harder to do. I think that online wallets are always more difficult to hack than your computer.

That is one of the perks of bitcoin "security" only you can hold your private key. Put a 2fa on your accounts linked to access your wallet. Don't eorry about bruteforce it would take millions of years for them to grt just a single private key.
You're right! 2fa will prevent your bitcoin from being stolen if you reuse your password somewhere else or in certain phishing scenarios. It is very useful for online services because it has limited uses for software wallet. Anyway, just secure all your information in your wallet and avoid clicking a websites which you think is a phishing sites.
Reusing your password is the first mistake, you should never use the same password, if you use different passwords then you are going to limit the damage that a hacker can do to you, if you use the same password then the hackers can steal money from many different accounts and in that case the advantages of having your money in different wallets evaporate, remember to always think of keeping your coins as secure as possible because with bitcoin you only get one chance, if your coins are stolen then it is game over.
