True, but how much energy are the competitors using to power their buildings and all those office with the air-conditioning running 24/7 and also the ATM's and the data warehouses and the lights and elevators and CCTV and the energy burnt in fossil fuels to transport money from one location to the next?
We have not even went into the energy used in the extraction of the raw minerals to produce the coins and the paper money.
