Bitcoin is the pioneer of block chain technology. I personally think that if bitcoin suddenly falls, other cryptocurrencies will be affected. But block chain technology is proven useful and efficient so I also think that block chain technology will be our future. That futuristic society can and will use blockchain to improve their economy.

Technically, a blockchain can exist without a cryptocurrency. But for public blockchains, cryptocurrency becomes a requirement because that’s the incentive for people to put their computers to work.

I have no doubt that Blockchain will live longer than Bitcoin. Blockchain was accepted on the most successful way as by governments as by big corporations. Meanwhile bitcoin stays not so popular in the all mass of money. There are countries which banned it already and I guess one day Bitcoin is going to be banned totally worldwide.

I think Crypto currency is constantly improved and therefore you need to be prepared for various changes in the assessment of one of the digital coins.
And if bitcoin disappears for some reason, certain coins will be able to replace it as the leader of the crypto currency. Can be ethereum, or bitcoin money or other successful coins that will manifest itself in the future. Only for transfer to fiat will already use other coins.

Blockchain Technology works on collection of data termed to be blocks and hash them using Algorithm, so does it works on Bitcoin as well. Bitcoin has only been the first coin that uses this Technology , which means Generation of Bitcoin was started by Blockchain,while Blockchain itself was initiated at start for Bitcoin. This however simplifies it that Blockchain can readily exists without Bitcoin, since so many other Alt Coins and projects can work fine on Blockchain Technology.

Yes, Blockchain will survive without bitcoin because bitcoin is the latest technology and bitcoin is made on this technology and there are so many other projects are also made on this technology if bitcoin lose their value so it does not mean blockchain technology lose their value it is different in between.

Yes and sure. That's why block chain also trying to adopt some other coins on their platform like Bitcoin cash, ethereum and more still coming.

By blockchain I think you may mean to generalize for the entire cryptocurrency market, it is possible that it may survive without bitcoin since it does not have any linkages even though it cover nearly half the valuation of the cryptocurrency market but surviving without ethereum may be difficult considering it has connected itself to numerous altcoins

it is more than improvable, i think that it will not happen because with no blockchain then there is no bitcoin so far, it is like trying to say that Apple would survive without all those iPhones.. it is exactly the same only that with a different concept

There's thousands of blockchain running most of them runs on the same chain, but more and more unique chains are showing up. Every company that generates date can use blockchain to store the data.
