Real money is the one that makes the majority of business as well meets the majority of the requirements in all day of life starting from common man to one who is highly elite. The common man might use it directly while the elite use with the card. So nothing makes the difference, cryptocurrency can't replace real money.

I think real money would likely make crypto disappear 1st.

The reasoning behind this is, crypto may be more likely to be hoarded than fiat which could lead to crypto disappearing as its hoarded in greater quantities, while fiat is freely traded.

Eventually we will go to no money or just some sort of digital money, they will not be paper money. Think this as if we as society evolve trough history then money or should I say mean of paying has to evolve to. We might not witness this perhaps some of our kid or grandkids will, but this will happen eventually.

You could have a cashless society, maybe in a hundred years from  now it can be a possibility as the new and young generations are now getting open to digital currencies. More resource based communities also can do without using cash as they can use digital currency and bartering for currency.

It could, and in theory anything could go ahead and achieve this goal. Though I can't actually see anything like this ever coming to fruition in the near future. I know that there is a ton of money and business behind crypto succeeding, but have you ever seen the amount of money that is behind FIAT currencies and everything surrounding them, we're not just going to be able to tap into that market without an issue in the least. And lets just say we're able to get some people to join in on the train here, Government is going to be bought and paid for in order to regulate the living shit out of us. They're going to make all the casual users run, and run far away they will. So no, it'll never happen.

What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked
Thats is not really going to happen at all, though we may have our cryptocurrency as a way of investment. in the end we may need to harvest our investment and i think we will just convert it into fiat, I wouldnt buy fuel or burger with my bitcoins when the price will be able to triple in six months or so. I will rather use cash.

I don't think so this will happen that cryptocurrencies make fiat useless or disappear, the reason is no country want a cuurency on which they have no control so they work together no one will gonna repalce each other.
So they will start t work on some crypto currencies that they can control, somehow, maybe in secretary. If they can solve the problems of uncontrolable, of course they will accept crypto currencies as money and then, real cash may disappear.

Not quite. It’s tempting to forecast the demise of cash. In fact, people have been predicting the end for physical money for nearly 60 years. With the rise of credit cards, contactless payments and cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin the death knells have only gotten louder.

It may seem like physical money could soon be a thing of the past, but if you take a closer look at the evidence – and the intriguing psychological relationship we have developed with notes and coins – you’ll find that it’s a bit premature to predict cash’s disappearance.

Fiat money can ever give way to electronic money managed by the government, but bitcoin will never be able to oust them. The state can not exist with unmanaged economy. I think that will always exist parallel to the state financial system and free online.

What are the chances of living in a world with no actual money ?  Shocked

In so far as the near future is concerned, there is a very slim chance.

Cryptos have yet to really convince the rest of the world of their value in terms of stability and consistently.

The world's commerce's fate cannot just simply put into a compromise. Cryptocurrency is not as reliable as our current fiat system.

I'd say it is very possible in the near future and that crypto is a lot more reliable than the current fiat system we have right now. The current fiat system we have is based off of debt, it's just debt and printing worthless notes rinse repeat deflate. Soon we'll have an economic collapse and that is when we'll see the people taking back the power of their own money. Basically replacing out current monetary system with a new and improved one where the power goes back to the citizens.

ITs possible but its yet too far to be actual, Most of the adult right now are not yet fully accustomed with computer, or the current technology.

I don't think so.
By default, cryptocurrency is decentralized, without government control.
I can't imagine that we will be allowed to use crypto currency in order to pay mortgage in the bank, to get loan, to buy house etc.
Every country have very strict rules regarding ''money laundering''.
With crypto currency, it's impossible to truck origin of money.
So, crypto currency will remain as alternative to real money, what is perfectly fine for me.
When I need it, I will exchange my btc funds to real money and spend without problem.

That's a nice day though, where their wouldn't be any cash and people would only used cards or something like that. Seems pretty impossible though making fiat no being used.
It is still considered money even if it's in card form or if you are using modern technology to pay for something. What you might be thinking is a cashless society where no one needs to bring paper money and every transaction would be done digitally, be it online or offline. That day might not come soon enough as paper money is being produced more today.
A cashless society seems impossible to me, there is simply no way to not use cash, in first world countries this may be possible but the standard of living in other countries is not as high so people still need to use cash since they do not have access to bank accounts.

It all comes down to what you define as "cash". If you think about it we are more or less already in a cashless society with all these numbers on bankaccounts and gov's. and banks wanting ro remove paper money. Here in Sweden I barely ever hold any money in my hands anymore. Sometimes it sucks because it makes me feel like I lose control of the value of money. And if we only use numbers on a screen telling us how much we have and how much something costs we will lose sense of it.

I recently started collecting silver and it feels like that is one form of "real cash" as I can hold it and exchange it anywhere in the world for stuff. Let's see what the future holds though.
When I think of cash I think of M0, basically the part of money supply that is physical, so I do not consider numbers on a screen to be cash, it is important to use cash, debit and credit cards offer convenience but you are basically giving the bank complete control over your life.

cryptocurrency will never make the real money disappear, real money can not disappear because supported by citizen and controlled by the government. some people have the belief that online transactions makes them prone to hackers. Moreover not all places have internet connection

yes i am agree with davids but if citizen and people is not trusting with government, i think they will start to move into other option that can be use for payment that i see in television like UBER Pay or else. as long as fiat is using in all country, then cryptocurrency can not make real money disappear but its possible to be disappear.
Although everything is possible but I think we cannot challenge government. Most of the people are using bitcoin because their government has not yet any announcement about bitcoin, ether bitcoin is legal or illegal, but i think if they will declare bitcoin as illegal then it will become difficult for the people to use bitcoin as open as they are using it, but hopefully all the countries will declare bitcoin legal as Japan has already declare it as legal currency.
yes the only reason people are using bitcoin can be that their government has not yet any announcement for it. they will  continue using bitcoin till their government will not do any announcement or declare it as legal currency, because if their government will consider  bitcoin as illegal currency then it is difficult to challenge the government. I am sure that my government will declare bitcoin as legal currency and therefore we will be using it as free.

I don't think you understand what money is. Money is simply a eod given to something if value that we most commonly trade. So pretty much Jews, gems, semi-retired gems, fiat, crypto are currently the most used forms if "money" you still thinking old school dude. This is the tech she money is digital now. Hell everything is digital . We stream most of what we watch. When was the last time you even touched a CD of any kind besides for a gaming console ? All my games I buy digitally . I stream what I watch or pay per view. There is nothing physical. Why murder trees for paper notes ? It's silly and primative.

Without real money, the world will not exist, because an alternative currency is needed in the event of an emergency. Crypto-currencies still need to adjust the speed of operations and distribution around the world.
I agree with what you say. Real money should still exist because some places that have not received facilities and infrastructure certainly can not use bitcoin / altcoin. Real money will survive because there are still many people who need it.
I had been thinking that Bitcoin will replace real cash someday but not until I read your reply. Your are right, in some emergency situations, we need real cash for that case. But how about coding a new coin that can send money directly or short time  confirmation or we can find out a way to make sure the payments are made.
