I don't see that happening. The impact of Elon musk in cryptocurrency is over - rated. We need to understand that it takes much more than acceptance through out the world to get the best out of a coin. Dogecoin at its best was used for a pump and dump scheme and most persons who entered at the wrong time are full of regrets.

I do it is not impossible. Because in the current situation of BTC, it seems that very soon the price of BTC will come down to 6 thousand. And Doggy Coin's supply plus holding is good. Doggie can pump coins there However, if BTC is down, the crypto market will be reversed. I think Dougie Coyne is the next best holding token.

Yes. But most people are following the hype, so they don't care to pour money into Dogecoin like crazy even if that will make them go "rekt" in the long term. It's surprising to see how one man can have a huge influence over the entire crypto/Blockchain industry. A positive or negative comment from Elon Musk can either lead crypto to the grave or all the way to the moon. I hope this doesn't last forever, or crypto will be doomed.

All in all, I believe Dogecoin will exist for generations because it's one of the oldest cryptocurrencies with a large community backing it. But its price might not be the same decades from now (probably less than a cent). There's more to crypto than just Dogecoin, so I'd suggest anyone to explore the whole crypto/Blockchain space in order to get the most out of it. Just my opinion

He don't have a respect to the one that started it all and I am sure that investors will avoid his project in an instant after knowing his intention.

It will be hard for elon to hype doge again to its ath because he already lose a lot of followers but it wasn't the dogecoin that lost the trust of the investors but it was Elon because they know that Elon is only using the coin for his own good.

but to become and replace Bitcoin of course NO

even in terms of technology dogecoin falls behind, it isn't even a smart contract, the current valuation was driven by elon and elon alone, you could say doge is gaining great and tremendous valuation increase but without elon musk doge coin is just the same shitcoins out there. ethereum is just far better in this term and the fact that ethereum has now become the 2nd highest by market cap alone likes speaks for itself. basically speaking from technology, doge just doesn't cut it to be the new BTC, it couldn't even competes against ethereum.

What a lame comparison, doge is a meme and it doesn't have any utility or application, while bitcoin is the father of crypto industry and all coins today are due to copy and edit from bitcoins that are generated.

while dogecoin is a meme coin that has no basis and hype just because of Elon Musk's tweet, so in my opinion no other cryptocurrency can be a botcoin, let alone dogecoin.

In this case there is a striking difference between the two. bitcoin has become a trusted coin, which in its role is a reference for market movements, while doge is clearly big in name due to manipulation and until now many of the holders are disappointed because of previous events. it is indeed difficult to replace bitcoin, even ethereum I think is very difficult.

I don't think that everything Elonmusk has done will be fulfilled, right now the doge is down and he can't do anything to lift the doge, so if it's in a situation like this, Elonmusk can't do anything even though twitter is with him at the moment.

agree with you mate, it is unlikely that doge will be able to change and wish to be able to replace bitcoin even though Elonmusk tries as hard as he can. bitcoin already has its own share and has been very well known and made a very attractive investment so far and it is difficult to beat it no matter what way the doge will do.

I think this will not going to happen, btc is rank as number one coin on coinmarketcap and the second is ethereum followed by usdt usdc and i think doge rank as #10 so i think it will not become the next new btc even the ethereum which is second rank on CMC will not replace BTC, so i really didn't believe this could happen doge will not become the new btc even if the coin is good or amazing in terms of investment.

Couldn't agree more with you, mate. Elon Musk is only taking advantage of Dogecoin by pumping it across social media platforms. He doesn't care about the cryptocurrency itself as long as his pockets are filled with money. Most people are foolish enough to think crypto is all about Elon Musk, when in fact, it is not. Anything that Elon Musk says can either positively or negatively affect Dogecoin's price on the market.

I'm waiting for the day when Elon Musk gets bored of Dogecoin so that people can move on to other things. DOGE may be the oldest "meme coin" in existence, but that doesn't mean it's meant to go sky-high in price. It was developed as a joke and it will stay that way forever. Not even the transition from PoW to PoS will make Dogecoin better than Bitcoin itself. Who knows if this "shitcoin" goes all the way to zero once the hype fades away into oblivion? Just my opinion
