It is profitable if you have a big capital. You can recover your losses if you have a big capital in gambling. You can endure many lossing streaks and won't lose easily from it. If you have big capitalcin gambling you must have a good discipline in terms of controling yourself when to stop when gambling.
No it is not, if you have a big bankroll you can play longer that is true and since you can play for longer periods of time you may get the impression that having a big bankroll helps you but eventually losses will begin to pile up and the same thing that happens to almost everyone in gambling will happen, you will lose money.
The bankroll mattes so having a good bankroll is good however you need to learn how to manage it properly. It's like being rich that became poor with lack of financial management. Everyone should understand that we are playing risk here and we could lose our wealth if we are not too careful.

managing your money in gambling is 10 times more important than having a big amount of money in gambling. you have to manage the bankroll in a way that you never bust out and that is the hard part otherwise anybody can come up with a large sum of money to gamble with and then lose it all.
That's correct and for gambler who want to win in the long run, he must have a good amount of bankroll and apply the conservative betting method. Betting like 3% of your bankroll is advisable and do not use martingale method and select the game where you think you have an edge.

Yes.  Bankroll management and game selection are the two key ingredients.  Choosing the right situation when the odds are in one's favor (+EV) and avoiding all situations where the odds are against one's favor (-EV) is key.  And, proper bankroll management reduces the effects of variance (losing steaks) which allows a player to stay in the game long enough to take advantage of the law of large numbers.

All gambling is indeed only concerned about the defeat and victory. But I often see that they get a pretty big defeat than victory they think. So this all is something a problem to be solved in advance, after the problem is solved then what we will do in the bankroll then it won't end the same way as prior to bankroll management. So,. If you want to get something good then have to resolve problems that we haven't completed

i'm a "the house always win" adopter.
i dont see it being profitable, yet, i do it as a hobby.

i do it for fun, not for profit. i'm sure there are a few successful gamblers even in the long term but definitely isn't easy.

If the house always win, make profit being at house's side, investing on their bankroll. It's not a lot of profit promises, but it's the only way to make profit on long term with gambling. You can play for fun and make some easy profit income at same time.  Smiley

I don't think large amount of bankroll would be helpful in the long run, you can't compete against house on the long run. you can make profits only in short runs that too if you're lucky! i've tried to go for the long run, i always ended up losing my coins.
If we have big amount bankroll, i think we can compete against the house. If we have enough money to play we can easily get back our loss in next bets and it will help us to play the long run. In the long run making a profit is not easy but if you know when to stop play you can easily make money in long run.

I think you have a point there is no help even you are depositing a large amount of capital you can be still lose it is always depends in your luck if you can make a good profit or not also if you can be satisfied what you have because greediness is one of the reason why you are losing instead you made a profit..

Obviously that is not long term gambling because even if you win that day, what about the previous days or the next ones there is no guarantee you can repeat such a performance in terms of hours and profits.
Yes you are right if you are looking for the long term then you will loose all your money and that is fact in gambling that if you are playing again and again then one day you will loose all your money. I did not see anyone who makes money by gambling consistently.
as all kind of trading are risky, and so as gambling also, but i think still thee are so many people who are really making good money in gambling the are continuously playing gambling and their wining percentage is more than their loosing percentage.

15 hours for me its a long time for playing gambling and its can makes me get sick in my eye. if in 15 hours, his got much of winning from the games, then he is the luckiest person in gambling and could win much of money. but i don't think that his luck will work for 15 hours because we don't know when our luck is come and leave us, only the win or loss that we should know.
Obviously long term does not mean to play 10-15 hrs in a day, long term is for a period of time like an year or two. If you are continuously playing for more than 3-4 hrs in dice then either you will win a good amount or loose all your amount but yes in sports betting you can play less bets and make much more money because in sports betting we can use experience.
LOL! you guys made my day. according to ipanks, his playing time of 15 hours is a long time not a long term. That is even not equivalent to a day.

We should understand what is long  term as for a gambler who would love to make a journey to be successful, we should be consistent and win in the long run.

not necessarily the person could earn $ 50-100 by following these tricks because in gambling 99% is a good luck and 1% tricks in my opinion. I myself have tried many tricks ranging from sites dice until bustabit but nothing works
We cannot call it a trick if that not successful, under the scenario, it seems like we are being trick by the gambling sites and we are fooling ourselves to make a method in a game where there's no way a method shall work. It's like we are fishing in the mountain.

That's why many are being deceived by gambling on that type of belief. Even how good you are and how many strategies you may know.

Still the house edge will able to be the one who will be the most profitable among of us. They are the only ones who are benefiting with this.

And the ones who will say that gambling is profitable in longer term.

I can say it is. Why? i've play over 34hours and i just made a good profit in gambling but this 34 hours has a break ofcourse it can be a profitable in the long run if you keep still playing at the smart way of yours and changing the style and strategies don't stict on one it may cost you a lose.
what kind of gambling are you playing ? i dont think that i can play 34 hrs with no lose. or maybe less loss of my bitcoins. do you have any method on how to make my profit more way bigger in gambling ? im just wondering if you can help me out growing my bitcoins. im planning to invest more this coming week on bitcoin . so it will be my investment again for gambling.

the worse is even you have big capital but if the house starts to show losing streak you will be also tempted to keep chasing your loses, controlling is really hard if you are already in the situation its really hard to say you can stop yourself then.

I used to like to gamble on bustabit, but I got a lossing streak, and just kept doubling my bet chasing my loss and I never caught up. But I prefer to gamble on some casino like sites because I can bet 1mtc, as opposed to going to a real casino and having to tip the dealer, pay for parking, pay a $1 for free drinks, and the $10 minimum per hand on blackjack, obviously you do not get the same experience when gambling at home online as in a casino but after gambling online I dont ever see myself going to a casino
