Gambling can give us a lesson in life. Because life is as unpredictable as gambling. Therefore, we must be ready for anything.  We can lose everything we have, but we can also win the jackpot at any time.

Gambling can give you one big life lesson:
Losing money is lot easier than earning money, if you understand what I want to say 

 Yes, gambling can give us lessons in life specially when you are already addicted to it. I will site an example and it is based on my own experience. I was once became addicted to gambling. That was a year ago. I won a large amount of money when I first gamble my money, as gambling first showed me that I can win instant money, I thought that I will always win so I ended up gambling everyday. Until I did not noticed that I already addicted to it. Gambling everyday just made me loss my money, and so the money I won from the first time got lost. I became eager to win back all of those money so I spent the money I saved from my work in just gambling it and instead of winning it back, I also lost it. It became hard for me to even go to work because I did not have allowance for work because I also spent it on gambling. I was really depressed during that time, problems also came consecutively, and I did not know how to solve it without any money.

Someone I love told me to stop it because it will just get me more problematic, that's why I stopped myself from gambling anymore. Months later, my life went back to normal. I was given a chance to save my money again. Up until now, I became addicted in earning money but not from gambling but in a proper way. And that is why I am here in bitcointalk forum now, because I am earning here.

I never understand why people consider such a trash as fun. There is nothing good and ecstatic in losing money, getting depressed, going bankrupt etc. there are countless cases where people have gone homeless just because of this game and here you guys are treating it as means of fun. It is an easy way of grabbing money of innocent people. Avoid this game as much as you can for a peaceful life.

Definitely gambling can give us good lesson in life.  we cna just observe gamblers from those who have good faith and those who meet disasters in gambling.  We really do not need to experience things to have lessons.  We just need to process the sample situation to know thing that might happen when we are in such situation.

I would say yes gambling can give you a lesson in life,
When you gamble it is 50/50 you will win, I allot of people end up broke because of spending their last cent on this addiction of gamble.

Acceptance would really matter specially when we do lose on playing gambling.We should really treat those situations as normal knowing that gambling do only have 2 outcomes which is losing and winning.If you do already come to a point on where gambling did mess already into your life for sure you are already aware and you wont really repeat the same mistake again for sure.

Your short or long-term experience in gambling can give you lessons in life especially when you are at your downfall and you start to realize the consequences of your actions. Gambling can never be profitable in the long-run and will only cause serious damage to the people around you. It also may destroy one's life if one gets addicted to it, and starts prioritizing gambling instead of their own career or family. I have seen countless friends who loss their way due to their addiction (not limited to gambling) and I've also seen people who get-up on their feet and face their problems directly instead of evading it.

That is big lessons since we all need to have a big acceptance when it comes of losing in a game in gambling. We need to accept every loses we take for us to move forward and forget all our loses in the future.

Gambling for me is an activity that's difficult to control, in the sense difficult to determine end point of each game especially when there are friends always ignited to continue game. Gambling always invites emotion to climb higher.

You are right, gambling is fun but it's a risky game therefore we need to be smart in order to discipline ourselves.
Never think of the big reward because you need to take the big risks in order to have the chance to win, but as you keep your dreams chasing on that big reward you might spend beyond your limit and you won't notice you are not making a progress but only you are losing money consistently.

Getting lost in a row for the first time in a row is enough for someone to quit gambling I think, but just like what you have said, if you are a narrow minded person, then you will never learn your lesson because you are only listening to yourself, you are not focusing on what is happening to you, your mindset is just on winning gambling, and not even thinking about what is going to happen to you in the future if you are going to continue losing in gambling.

This is all about making decisions---tough one, because it is for yourself, if you really want to earn some money. then look on the other sides, gambling is not the only way, there is plenty of ways out there where you could earn bitcoin in a very safe way.

You have to discipline yourself as a person to gamble safely and for entertainment. You have to have many other variables in your life stable.  Most people who end up with gambling problems dont have the control over their life in other areas and try to find the quick easy answer with thrill of gambling. There is a lot of things you will learn in gambling. First off, money cannot be determined by your luck, money is not that easy to earn so everyone must be careful on how they use and risk their money. The second one is gambling is just an entertainment and not a way or a road for someone to take to be instantly rich, we must hope to be rich with this kind of game since it is based on luck. Lastly, gambling is mostly played by greedy people and what they bring to people is not riches and money but lost, except for the owners and investors obviously.

But many people are having a hard time to accept that fact, they keep on believing that gambling is a way where they could earn money but the sad truth is that they are just going to lose. Addiction is the reason behind all of this stuff, maybe they have lost too much that is why they can't move on and promise to themselves that they are going to get it back no matter what.

People do gamble mostly because of greed. They want to get easy money through gambling instead of the normal one that they can get from other activities. As soon people aware that it is almost impossible to get good steady profit from gambling, they have to change their mind regarding gambling.

Yeah if you are a wise person, then you can get a positive lesson from gambling. Although gambling is a negative work, but if you have long been in gambling, I'm sure you can get a good lesson to apply in your life. A small example is greed.

I agree with you, theres a lot of proof that people have been destroyed by their own greed to have so much more.
Gambling is fairly fun to do but when you lose control and greed start to conquer you then theres a good chance that you are gonna lose more.

I think the only that anyone will learn from gambling is greed will only destroy us. It's what drives all people to try gambling and it's not just your money that is in the risk but it could be also your whole life once you are trapped in your gambling addiction.

Well it's all we can only learn if we are aware of it all. The lesson from gambling can only be achieved if we are aware of all that, if we do not realize that gambling can not give us wealth then we will not get the lesson. There are still many who can not control themselves while gambling which means they still have not learned.
