Most gambling sites stores their users credentials, but if they follow the "rule of the thumb" it is stored in hashes or is encrypted on their database. Every site that allows you to register, and ask for username/password, stores them on their database.

Where do you play? You should ask their admin to give full record of your bet. This thing is a must to record all players activity in their site. Try to do check your balance and your history then you could check it whether it is true or not. But I dont think they will do something like that. They have enough to open new site rather than steal some of your coin out there
