Destroying bitcoin is one of the topics that i have seen in this forum. Governments can only ban bitcoin and cryptocurrencies by imposing a regulation and their will on that matter but they can not stop or destroy bitcoin since bitcoin is decentralized and that the government can not intervene on its operation.
No one can ever destroy bitcoin even the government will do and said that as much as we believe that this will be exist a long time so we don't need to worry as much as it is very popular nowadays. Think always positive everything will be fine and it will bring you a good and positive life without negativity. So just calm and enjoy while working.
As per my point of view govt think about it very soon and speed the world about the magic of cryptocurrency
I personally doubt it, becouse bitcoin has so huge support at the side of users and adopters, that no one government could not stand
Government can't destroy Bitcoin.Because BTC is never stop anyone can't destroy.The most efficient specialty is that Blockchain system couldn't be destroyed by anyone.Bitcoin has a good purpose for the economy of the country.
Government just can ban Bitcoin in single country it's government power but government can't destroy Bitcoin.Because BTC is never stop anyone can't destroy.Yeah in there are many countries ban Bitcoin that means it will be stop.Also in my country government ban BTC.I think really government going on the wrong way to banning Bitcoin.
The government can't ban the possession of Bitcoin, but it is capable of performing a lot of actions which can harm the currency. For example, they can try the 51% attack which will result in chaos and anarchy in the Bitcoin world. Or they can tactically support another coin, to take on Bitcoin.
The government will not be able to make bitcoin destroy, which can be done bitcoin banned and prohibit the use of bitcoin, blockchain technology is unique so we do not have to worry that bitcoin is destroyed.
Many people and government wants to destroy Bitcoin why ? Its because if the people Learn to use it they will not try and want to find work , they will gonna use Bitcoin rather than working but another reason why government wants to destroy it because if there is no workers and employees therefore there is no tax coming. And it is a bad news for them because they think that Bitcoin can't run an country's economy 😉

No government can't destroy bitcoin even they banned it in other countries because there are still countries that bitcoin is legal. I don't know why other countries banned bitcoin because the only goal of bitcoin is to help people to make their life better.

many people and governments want to destroy bitcoin because they see it will destroy the country's currency because of the many restrictions and regulations they make and want to slowly stop it and this will not be easy because I assume that bitcoin is very strong and many countries are using it and up to now not some are harmed even bitcoin brings a lot of cool new winds in industry and business and I hope that the government will soon legalize it 
Actually, the government has the authority to ban or destroy bitcoin but it might be difficult to do or realize it completely. It is operated by decentralized system and unregulated. No formal issuer of bitcoin and it can be controlled only by all users involved in it. Besides that, bitcoin is also usefull and bring a lot anvantages for the government. It can support the economy, can minimize unemployment, etc. that is why bitcoin will not be banned morever destroyed fully by the government. What the government wants is the local currency is not influenced by bitcoin or local currency still stable in value.
I think it would be very difficult for a country that forbids bitcoin to remove bitcoin, because bitcoin is not born from a country. and users and investors come from all over the country.

I think no, government cannot totally destroy bitcoin, they only prohibit or banned said bitcoin in a certain country that they think that bitcoin can harm their flow of currency. But then still, they cannot destroy because many countries who still using or believe in bitcoin.

Some countries already banned bitcoin, you can search it in google; but some countries are supporting bitcoin.
They cannot destroy bitcoin worldwide. They cannot destroy it instantly, it takes time or they will fail.
A single government can't destroy BTC. BTC is global. Unless the Internet ends, BTC will not end.

well I don't think so they might be trying to do that, in fact, they have already tried in few countries but they have not succeeded in doing that
Of course not , It is impossible to destroy the bitcoin . because bitcoin is the global coin ,almost all over the country's people know about bitcoin when any country ban the bitcoin its news spread all over the world then people are interesting to know activity of bitcoin.Day by day bitcoin popularity increasing at increasing rate.
