If you really want to create your own altcoin, you must create first your team group a team that has their own skills in this field of industry, and all of them must be familiar with bitcoin, a team has a skills in programing, marketing skills, technical skills, and knowledge in designing or management skills. If you don't have any of this, better for you to buy bitcoin now then do trade in the exchange site, or much good for you to study and learn everything in bitcoin or in cryptocurrency.

Because some of them are just developing coins for the possible profit that they can make even though it is not really created for solving and helping us with some other transactions, they just did it because its seasonal. Finding out the real reason is sometimes the problem of some alt coin devs but I know OP has a very good reason for starting his own.

Complete guide? This sounds crazy since this is no different from being a spoonfeed.

How much you are willing to risk and spend? Building an own alt is a serious matter and with the stand you have today, future investors will see you as a newbie. "You must work silently" if you know what I mean and surprised people with your knowledge.

Look at the some of the successful crowdfunding, their roadmap is excellent and it makes sense for a lot.
Don't fork the original coin like some of the silly people. There is no complete guidance because it comes from your brain. to make the functional coin.

You just said "I want" but not how. If you would like to start a new digital currency what you need first of all is to have an idea worth developing. Secondly, you have to know the technological side of things, which means that you have to be able to code and implement your ideas. If you just want to fork Bitcoin or another altcoin, well, that has been done before one too many times. Just to get started, if that's what you're into, you can google for "Complete Guide on How to Create a New Alt Coin".
