Please tell can i make bitcoin to my personal laptop???is it possible?and tell me also one question how many time require r energy to make one bitcoin? Smiley

I think mining bitcoin now is not profitable ways to earn because difficulty per blocks is more higher and the profit your earn is less and the electricity cost is more higher than your earnings so that i dont suggest to do mining. And if you do mining in in your laptop well your video card will be blast and broke.

I think its better to dont mine using your laptop because it can destroy or laptop..

you need expensive asic, not worth it

Yes you can mine your own bitcoin but you need to invest for a good mining rig.
But it will really cost you a big amount for mining rig. Just make sure you can avail with very expensive price.

If you want to mine bitcoin you need some high end pc or mining rig and you need to join mining pools to make the task easier. As of now i think mining bitcoin is not profitable because of the incoming bitcoin halving because the difficulty will increase and aside from the difficulty you need to consider also the cost of the electricity in your nation or country

Mining is not anymore profitable even with an extreme gaming machine (desktop) let alone to try it with a laptop. Yes there are a few coins you can try mining with GPU however you risk to shorten a lot the lifespan of your device. I suggest you stay away from mining now as you can't win anymore with it.

You can mine your own bitcoins but it doesn't make any sense right now unless you got free electricity somehow.

Don't even think about mining if you have a shitty laptop or a gpu.

Yes you can mine bitcoins to your laptop but you should post the specs of your laptop here so we can see.

But if not you need to invest for a better specs for mining. But, it is not profitable now if you will mine.

Yes you can do but your earning is less than you use your laptop to claim faucet and more safe if you use laptop to claim faucet than you use for mine bitcoin.

gpu are protected by a good warranty unlike asic, which can die much early, and have bad warranty so excuse me if it has more sense to mine with gpu than asic right now especially for the profit

You can mine Alt coin which will be profit but mining Bitcoin with cpu is not worth as difficult level is high for bitcoin, ya but you can go with Alt coin and it gives you profit also. But dont try to do it with your laptop

Yeah that's true, you could mine alt coins, and just sold it to have a bitcoin.. But to mine bitcoin with CPU is not possible...But, why mine if you could just buy it, that way you could preserve the lifespan of your laptop..

I said this forever but some have made ehter profitable on mining.  Which surprised me at first to see a coin bringing profit to some.  It still takes cheap electricity but it depends on what cards you have and many other factors including electricity.

But a ether mining maching and selling cards some day I now mark as possible.  Not for most, but it's still possible for a few.

Do not be discouraged about all the negative talk so far, this thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/beginners-guide-1412928 will shed some light on the basics of mining.

But you need a desktop, not laptop and cheap electricty to make some money off mining.

A desktop will not be mining Bitcoin though, you need an asic at this point.   If you used a desktop it would be altcoin mining, and you really need decent GPU's.  So still not standard desktop.

You will notice S3 in the thread you mention it is an asic that can mine (it's dated at this point).  But yes you can mine with asics if OP tells us electricity rate we can give idea if it's even possible.  But mention of laptop... makes me think thread is going nowhere.

no, not possile anymore, but you can try to mine cpu coin like hodl that will generate indirectly bitcoin, for you via dumping on exchange

to mine bitcoin you need specialized hardware called asic

Cpu mining is dead sadly I don't think it will ever come back. There was a small time where it was money making and you could use VPS's like amazon EC2 to mine coins... it was a really fun time.  But today it just does not pay off in long run.

Also sadly "bad guys" with bot nets if there is a coin that is paying even decent can use a entire bot net to mine a coin.  And you cannot compete against free machines mining for these "bad guys".

So I don't see CPU coming back, it is only a memory at this point.

of coarse you can mine your own BTC.  The question is what do you have to invest in order to mine profitably.  Mining is difficult and there its a large upfront investment in order for you to be profitable in what you are mining.  Do some research before you start.

I have to back these other comments, it does not seem like it would be worth it to mine your own bitcoin.  The hardness is up there and you need a bunch of equipment to be able to compete with any of the larger miners.  Just my opinion.
