If this is a for real, legitimate post, then I would do one thing and that's find a financial adivsor and or healthcare workers to help you with this situation.  If you don't trust those in China, then you should look elsewhere (perhaps somewhere in Europe)..but the very last thing you should be doing is trying to gamble away money on a singular bet, whether that's bitcoin or Tesla stock.  It's not a wise decision what so ever.

Do not use your money to buy bitcoin, that is not a good decision with your current situation. You could end up losing them all especially if this is your first time to invest in bitcoin. The tale of your brother is quite touching and inasmuch I would like for you to have the cash inorder for the transplant to hold, buying BTC with what you have now, with hopes of gaining double the capital, is not plausible. Unless you buy altcoins and trade, still it won't earn up to the $75,000 you require.

To best bet would be to invest in a physical business that offers service, like making deliveries, airBnb, or any other service business that is a daily necessity to everyone.

Investing in bitcoin is not the best solution to your problem. You may end up losing all your funds rather than expecting profits 2x or 3x from your capital. However, find a good business that will help you profit daily but never expect too much as you have to still find other means that will surely help you in your situation, and bitcoin investment is obviously not a good choice this time.

the guarantee of high profits is not on the table. Should look for other options to find the money.
I think the OP is thinking that he can get at least 10x of his 3k USD if he will invest in btc.
It means, btc going up at least to 90k, which we know is not the case here,

Just be careful out there and try not to fall victim to any scam that will take away the only $3,000 that you already have.
 
Like others have said above, Bitcoin investment is not what you need right now; what you need is any means of fund raising or getting a loan. If you have tried every means that you can to generate funds through donations and charity from either government support or family and it didn't work, the only option that I think might be helpful for you is a loan, and to get that huge amount of money approved for a loan, you will need something worth it or close to that amount to be used as collateral. Then you can go request a loan from any of your countries's banks.
 
But another thing is that taking a loan without means of repayment is really dangerous, as you could lose your collateral to your borrower if you become a loan defaulter. All you need now is to sit down and look for the best possible option. Your brother's life matters, and I wish him a safe and quick recovery.
 

If you live in China, you must understand that you have no chance to invest in BTC. China government bans crypto, it is including BTC for sure. If you force yourself to invest in BTC, you will get a trouble with the law if the government knows it. So, it is not a wise decision to invest in something illegal in your country.

Anyway, BTC investment has no guarantee for profits and it is always a high risk investment. If you expect for an exact profit and it should be in the short time holding, BTC isn't the right option. People mostly invest in BTC for a long term holding, but they never set an exact profit although they set a target. Regarding the time for entry (buy), surely it is not too late. We are still in the bearish period, it is always a good time to buy whenever there is a big dump.

and in my opinion there is nothing wrong with you sacrificing something expensive that you have for your brother's medical expenses, because many people who do that sell their land if they own it, sell their car and even their house just to treat their illness. It is not late to invest in Bitcoin because it's always the best time to buy now before the bull run comes for every cycle. But talking about saving your brother, it's not going to be enough as investing in BTC takes time and it wouldn't grow overnight just as what you are probably thinking.
If you've got that total assets worth $3k and then your brother's surgery needs around $75k, you see the big difference and what you need to have. The only odds that you need to have is to see Bitcoin go around up to $750k to make that $3k of yours to become $75k.

investing in BTC would not magically make you earn a profit, in fact, there is even a chance that if you invested in BTC the money you invested could lose value because of the volatility of the bitcoin price.

I am not sure how government officials are in China but you'd be better off asking them for help or other charity institution than investing your total asset on BTC. sorry about your brother, I hope he gets the help that he needs.

I'd look at fundraising sites, charities, a loan from a bank or a family member. Try everything you can, OP, because bitcoin will not help you here and don't fall for scams and shitcoins, they will only make matters worse for you. What looks like an easy way out is really a way into a dark, deep hole.
Investing in bitcoin to save someone means you'll have a deadline to meet, like a month, a year, whatever. This is the easiest way to go bankrupt because bitcoin doesn't meet deadlines. It can be at new ATH post halving, or it can be at 50% of the last ATH, like it was in 2020.

So sorry about your brother. I hope he does get well. As other community members have said, you can't get the multiplier you need to make the target of $75,000. Gofundme was just an idea. You can look for alternatives that are available for China residents. I'm sure there are charity organizations that can cater for this.

Sorry to hear about your current problem and we only wish we could do something for you right now buddy. But as it stands today there's no way bitcoin could help you with that. Money is quick in this industry but not that quick kind sir. Plus the risks that come with investing in cryptocurrencies especially during times like this may even leave you with less money than you came up with. I would highly suggest you check if there were opportunities for your brother to avail of his insurance if he has any, or if you guys could be covered by government assistance which I believe is something that all countries have anyway. I hope for the best for you and your brother and just know that if you're telling us the truth (which I believe you do), the whole forum is with you and your brother's recovery.

But China doesn't support cryptocurrencies as well. I wondered after reading your post that if there is a possibility to invest, how will you be able to do that (buy bitcoin) while you are in China?

Feel sorry for the situation but just like on what others been saying on here is that it cant really be that possible for you to buy bitcoin and having the hopes that you could be able to get that 75k usd for it to be used for treatment. I know the feeling on having that kind of desperation just to save up your loved ones but its better not to risks up that 3k on something which cant really be able to solve out the problem. Have you able to
reach out from your relatives or other close friends on taking up some loan or borrowing money? Basing on what you have said that you already owe 30k which its really that hard for it pile up even more
but we dont really that care. Is there some organization or government charities out there for you to seek out help? Dont tend to rely on something on crypto because everything cant really give
out that kind of fast pace on earning money or having that multiple folds.
