NeuroticFish Thank you very much for your answer.
I really appropriate you taking time to answer it..
Was reading your post and did manage to get private keys for 2 addresses i have.( One have 1 BTC another 0.8 BTC)
When we'll have all addresses and the sum of Bitcoin on them is the one you expect then it will be all right.
Right now my BTC Wallet is again "Synchronizing with network" saying 4 weeks behind
I assume it takes this long because my PC is 7 years old although i do have very fast internet.
I'll assume that it's because you have an old version of Bitcoin QT....
Is it wise to wait Synchronizing to finish before exporting BTC to Electrum.?
Or i can do it straight away.
Also i am not able to add BTC address 13hnDCz14BiwsFina1h17AgP8KQonJQh8 to the wallet, probably because is still Synchronizing too.
It is like it takes 1 day approx for 1 week..
That is the address where according to Blockchain i sent 0.45 BTC .
Well i guess i didn't open my wallets for like 4 years few days up or down does not make difference.
You can import them now into Electrum or wait. If you import them now you'll have one wallet with 1.8 BTC.
When you get the rest of private keys you can do this again and make a wallet with all the key or a wallet only with the "latecomers".
However, I recommend however, when all this ends, to make in Electrum one more wallet; the new wallet will have some seed words you'll have to write down; the new wallet has more addresses and that'll make it a little safer.
But i am thinking to transfer LTC to my wallet on MAC .I did download the same wallet called Litecoin QT but now i learnt on Youtube there is also one Electum for Litecoin?
Maybe is easier if i use same platform for both.(for Litecoin i only have one address)
"Same platform" caught my eye. Eletrum and Electrum for Litecoin although look similar, they are different programs; make sure you don't mix them. Keep bitcoin (and keys) on electrum and litecoin on Electrum for litecoin.
The export/import should be similar and same rules apply. Just again, don't mix them up. Litecoin private keys should not work on Bitcoin network, sending Litecoin to Bitcoin address may lose them and so on.
