I looked for an ico didn't fi d any but they said it. Would launch as early as January 2021 so surely there's an ico somewhere has anyone know where can purchase this token early?
Where did you hear or see that there is an ICO going on for Libra? Libra hadn’t been active for a very long time now, they just left the project as it is since they have not been permitted to carry one with it. Maybe you should try checking their website on libra.org and you will get some information. If anyone should tell you that there is an ICO going for Libra, then they are straight up lying to your face. Just stay cool for now and focus on other things you’re doing, when they are ready you’re definitely going to know. It will be all over the news and you will see a lot of people talking about it. I know for sure that this Libra will make changes.

As from Wikipedia's update, it isn't yet available for sale and it's yet to plan to build infrastructure to different currencies as stated in April this year. There are mentioned fake libra platforms as well so don't get to clicking any "early sales" or similar to that right now.

In any way, I am not interested in buying one anyway.

Why do they have to sell it at the ICO? They already have very large funds and are supported by large companies. They don't need to sell it via ICO. After all, the Libra coin is a stable coin that pegs its price to the US dollar. Why would you buy it if you are aiming to make a profit?

Libra was a stable coin and it's not yet launched. i think that you must watch it if there's not clear date about when exactly the facebook coin called libra will be launched. FINMA didn't even give any response regarding the rumour about the launch of libra. That means if you can't buy that anywhere. Libra will be definitely the same as tether and i think it will not launch any ico

Libra is different from bitcoin and other altcoins, in that its value is based on a different basket of currencies The Libra currency is not expected to move speculatively and wildly compared to other digital currencies. Will the world community benefit more? And there are still other questions on the minds of many people, maybe you are one of them.

It's not publicly launched yet, you may be able to purchase it once it's publicly released, they say it's on early 2021 https://www.coindesk.com/facebook-libra-stablecoin-january-2021. If you are talking about ICO or IEO they don't have that, they have their own private investors. It's Facebook anyway so they already have trust from Big investors, and won't need small investors.

All that being said, I don't think I would buy (in term of invest) this coin since it's controlled by Facebook.

Be careful looking at some ICO. There's many fake Libra ICO circulating online, promoting it in social media like facebook, twitter but remember that Libra hasn't any official announcement about their launch, so ICOs aren't feasible at the moment, too.

Here's the recent updated news from them.

There's still so many political and some regulations that their governments pointing issues to Libra. If they'll have a solution to that, they wouldn't be a problem launching it in the future.

Why would a billion dollar company need an ICO to launch their product, are we just playing around and people are not trying to understand the core reason for ICO  Roll Eyes. It is basically not to take money from random investors but for the project to move forward and to launch from scratch and for Facebook what is forcing them to collect money  Roll Eyes.

I don't think Facebook will go with a fundraising campaign. They have enough money to start new projects. So, you will have no way to invest in. On the other hand, there are a few fake facebook libra coin. Don't trust them.

Facebook Libra is a great project and I believe it's going to be a very successful payment currency. But I think many crypto enthusiasts like the OP poster are going to be disappointed because it's redesigned to be a stable coin and as such not likely to go for an ICO or IEO.

Sorry, there won't be any need to invest in the coin for hope of making extra bucks from it as there won't be any extra after all except for the owners and founding investors.

You can scan the forum for ongoing or upcoming projects where you can invest in their tokens during pre-sale or public sales.

Isn't Libra tradable yet? I searched the roadmap but I also did not find when there would be a LIbra token sale. I came across the Libra whitepaper and it wasn't there. As reported, Libra itself will later become a stable coin that is backed by the dollar. This may come as a bit of a surprise especially for those who are indeed waiting for Libra. And here we will find out how much Facebook will last.

Why are you interested to purchase their coin? It is dollar-pegged stablecoin so I don't think you will get profits from it. Unless, they will be selling it below $1 before it hits the market. But don't think they will hold some sort of crowdsourcing as they have good financial backing.

no gain opportunity if we hold stable coin, maybe the benefit having libra only can used it in facebook ecosystem such as paying ads fees or anything else. moreover its still uncertain and SEC hasn't issue the recommendation yet, as we know Libra ever had a problem with SEC.

Still nor released yet but once it's released I'm sure there'll be a platform to buy this. Though we're still uncertain whether facebook really serious about releasing this token because honestly they always said about releasing it but the reality is they always delay the release beacuse many factor.
But once it's released maybe some exchange out there gonna sell it just the same way they sell stablecoin.
many reason why Libra delayed their token issue especially about legal standing their. as i know facebook had problem with SEC . one certain thing was there will alot exchanges list Libra due the company background that support it.

I just want to ask you one thing, why you want to buy Libra Coin? For profits? No of course because Libra is a stable coin and you cant make profits with invest in it, so what the reason??

Just forget about ICO or whatever only because want to buy libra coin, you should ask yourself first, what the reason? And it makes no difference when you buy at ICO or when listed on the exchange, the price will be the same ... Stable

If they are going to let people invest in their project, for sure they will announce it and they will also launch it here but we never saw it until now so it mean that they are not yet open to it.
The best thing you can do now is to wait, it can in someday or they just wanted it to make partnerships to private investors and sell it privately as well. You may contact them if you are really eager to make an investment early. But be sure that you are addressing the right person or site as they are a lot of scam sites offering almost the same.

No more Rekt and Bust
Don't waste your valuable time investing in the no existing projects, Libra is actually popular on paper. In the real crypto markets, there are alternative stable altcoins that have a better value compared to the centralized Libra project that will be released by the Facebook team. Zuckerberg will make new partnerships with the established companies in order to develop Libra but it will take time. The expectations are very high for the Libra project and there is no need to invest in Libra if the team is not ready to release a single piece of the spreadsheet as a roadmap.

An ICO for the stable coin of Libra? I don't think that you'll even see it. They are rich and supported by many companies that like the project so they don't need the usual crowdfunding that we have in such projects.
IMHO, it has no point to buy it. The use will be the same as cash but they've just put it and make it the same as cryptocurrencies so people would use it. Btw, that's only an opinion of mine but if you want too then you have to wait for further announcements.

Libra will be a stablecoin, there will be no way to win.
It will only work in case of instability in the market.
There will be no ICO either, since it has very good partners, and private investment has arrived since 2019.
Everything is already prepared just to launch.

I leave you this good article about LIBRA: https://www.coindesk.com/facebook-libra-stablecoin-january-2021

There is no ico because this project is funded and owned by 7 to 8 big companies, i think you will be able.to buy libra coins once they officially launch in fb or whatsapp but i hope they will also list it at crypto exchanges for more adoption and usability.
