It depends on the casino’s policy, but usually if it’s a big casino they can host events and have dedicated spaces for meetings, so as long as you’re willing to pay the price, I don’t see any issue. I assume you’re thinking of casinos like a casino hotel or something similar, where they have event halls and conference rooms. In that case, it’s just a matter of booking the venue and meeting their requirements.

Yes, you can hold meetings in casinos, as many casino resorts offer dedicated meeting spaces, including ballrooms, boardrooms, and smaller meeting rooms, making them suitable for both small and large business gatherings; some even advertise their facilities as ideal for corporate events and conferences.

But you have to let the casino know about it so that you can pay and they will reserve the room for you.

But this is completely off-topic.
does op want a meeting where they can gamble perhaps? i have heard of those kinds of meetings yes it is a business meeting but if it is just about some transaction a few entertainment would not hurt yeah? or maybe i am watching too much action movies where gangs always meet in casinos to do some transactions lol but yeah it would be better to inform the casino lest they do not have a space for you and you end up lost with a group of people

Is a land based casino a good place for a meeting to be held at, either with or without the prior notice of the management?
That is, is it okay and possible for a group of friends/acquaintance to host or hold or meet at a casino for an important discussion or for matters regarding settlement?

Your opinion is welcomed!

Depends on what kind of meeting you guys are going to do, it is related to job?

It might be better if you ask  the management of the casinos, or maybe just reserved a room in the hotel, big enough to cover all the attendees. As for inside the casino itself, it might not be a good idea as there are a lot of distractions and maybe you can't really talk about on important issues because of all the people around.

So for me, if there is something important to talk to, casino is not the best one, as there are so many things going around you.

I think it depends on the nature of the meeting and the casino's policy. Most land-based casinos have lounges, restaurants and private rooms where groups can gather. If the meeting is informal you could probably meet in one of those areas. However if it's a serious discussion especially one involving a settlement I think it's best to check with management first. We all know that casinos can be noisy and distracting so they may not be ideal for important discussions.
What's so special about that? If the casino manager allows such meetings, then why not? But what is there to discuss? Does the casino really have several beneficiaries who have equal shares in this business? If so, then there is a need to hold such meetings to resolve some disagreements and issues. There is nothing unusual about this. It is even a necessary and forced measure. Some aspects are better resolved not by phone or video communication, but in person.

What I know in certain casinos have VIP facilities such as hotels and certain rooms provided for their customers. And it can be used as a meeting for anyone who wants to use the room. But for me if the meeting is related to business, I suggest not to discuss business or anything related to sensitive matters in the casino even in a special room. Because I am worried if in that room there is any tool that can find out what you are talking about during the meeting and for me it can harm your business.
You are absolutely correct that is the real truth about it, actually some casinos normally have some sating place for their VIP. But even as that I think is not really advisable to book meeting in a casino premises, because it will look some how to the people in the casino. However, I think the best way is to fix the meeting aside from any casino, after all their are so many places to fix a meeting without distraction.

How can you held meeting inside when it's too noisy? At least in the landbase that I frequented, there are music and live bands and then the noise of the slot machines itself and the players. But if you are interested, then yeah, you can do that, have a meeting in some fancy restaurants just outside or even inside the casinos. I do not think that they will mind it, as long as you are going to foot the bill then that is ok with them.

Not unless you want a function room because the meeting will involved a lot of people. For my experience though, I have met clients inside the premises of the casino for buy and sell and trade of items. From expensive shoes to watches to jewelries and it went good.

Nah, not a good idea in my opinion unless you're to rent a VIP or a private room where you can make sure that there's a privacy in your meeting but even at that point, it's still stupid to use casino as a venue for your meeting. Imagine this, you're holding a meeting on something that's supposed to be a secret or strictly and highly confidential, casinos aren't really the best kind of stuff for that because there are a lot of elements that would jeopardize your meeting and your secrets might leak. Better off if you can rent out the whole casino so you'll be able to narrow down potential sources of leaks but the best thing is probably to just have it on your own building in your company, pretty sure that's how most of the meetings work anyway.

This topic doesn't make any sense to me. There is no connection between land base casino and people hosting meeting inside . If people want to host meeting then they can go to event centers, School, hotels, playground or any open space but not casino. Casino hall is always busy for business, so I see no time to use it for any meetings except a meeting hosted by the casino to pass a message or training their workers.

If they are rich people then anything can be done to rent place like special VIP room that has been provided by the casino and if do it without notifying the management and do it in the game room, it might disturb other visitors and even what they are talking about in the meeting can't be focused.
Just think logically, meetings or discussions in resolving important matters require quiet and comfortable place so really have to determine separate place without any disturbance from anyone outside, moreover the game room is only for playing and having fun in general not for discussion or meeting.

If you're going to be meeting in a land based casino for business make sure you become a member so you can take advantage of the special members lounge that provides free food and drinks in most cases and they are all quality stuff, this would show your guests that you are truly a gambling addict and that there are some perks to it  Wink I'm sure you can find tables at restaurants or something like that in the casio no problem but when it comes to liek an official meeting behind closed doors you would probably need to make arrangements.

Casinos are naturally vibrant and energetic environments designed for entertainment and enjoyment. So while they offer a variety of amenities such as restaurants, bars, and gaming spaces... I believe that the bustling and public nature of casinos may not be ideal for important discussions or confidential meetings as privacy and confidentiality can be challenging in such an open and busy environment.

From what I have researched, some casinos do have dedicated meeting spaces, but I recommend that if you are considering using a casino as a meeting venue, it is courteous and prudent to notify management in advance. This allows them to be aware of your presence and can accommodate your needs as much as possible and ensure a more relaxed and controlled experience.

But I really don't understand your need for this as there are much more suitable environments such as conference rooms, coworking spaces, or even private cafes that can offer a more quiet and confidential environment for important discussions.

Absolutely.  They welcome large meetings or conferences because then they tend to stay and gamble.  Casinos will do anything to draw in large amounts of people.  In terms of unannounced, depending on what space you need and how many people im sure its dependent on size and availability.  But corporate meetings are held there a lot.

Why not? As long as there is permission from the casino you can conduct meetings there.

But aren't there other places more convenient than casinos? You say the meeting is for an important discussion and settlement too, but you know the casino is a gaming venue so it could disrupt your serious discussion.

But I think casinos are very rarely used as a meeting place for other important discussions.

Yes, it is possible to arrange a meeting in a land-based both, although organising a meeting there is better for people who want to have a more casual setting for the meeting that is a little different from any office. Most of the casinos have comfortable areas such as lounge or restaurants or even meeting rooms so as to conduct a meeting without having the crowd around the gambling fraternity. In casual setting such as with friends or colleagues, one can choose any easy comfortable place in the casino and does not require any prior notification. However, if the meeting issues are more pressing or many people are involved, one should consult the management before proceeding to make sure the place and environment meet the required standards. The most important thing remains that the environment be conducive to allow the discussion move along without unnecessary intercalibration.

These are factors I will consider before saying yes or no, does the casino have a spot where they can consider a sit out where people could possibly sit and have some drinks,  are the persons who are meeting within the numbers of 1-5  persons,  are they customers to the casino or at least three of them customers?in cause of the meeting will they be having drinks purchased from the casino,? And are they okay with the usual noise at the casino such that it's not going to be an issue while they discuss? If all yes then why not?, but if otherwise then maybe no.

I think it's fine and there is nothing to worry about if you're going to use their venue for meet ups. As long as you'll avail any of their service there or you'll exchange for some chips.

Commonly, casinos have also resorts and hotels and that's why I think if you are up for those areas then you'd definitely be fine. You'll be put into those areas for the gathering you are managing.

So, it's fine because those venues are also being managed by the casino but to give you an idea, casinos are there for recreation so they will have to put you to the right place even if you go walk in.

It is well known that casinos usually have their own resorts attached to them, in which there are meeting halls and rooms specially dedicated for people to host small private events. Though, those spaces are usually there for rent and one must let know the casino staff in advance about the event or meeting we are going to have in their facilities, as well as the size of attendance and how much time we are going to be there.
The ambience of luxury and comfort typical of casinos are not only supposed to attract gamblers and bettors, but also those who want to held their meetings in a nice place.
Hotels also do the same.

Usually those rooms for meetings are fairly away from the gambling floor, by the way.

Casinos have function halls, conference rooms, and meeting rooms. As many casinos are in hotels, you need to request one if its an important meeting. Meetings about important discussions should be in a place where there are no distractions from what is being discussed, but if its something that can be over in a matter of minutes, then it can be done without a room reservation as long as everyone is comfortable doing it.

Before you can use a place, there must be a certain condition met on ground that warrant for that or that may go against the use, if there is a cordial relationship with those having the casinos, then why not, government or any gambling platform cannot just batch into someone's property like that to hold a meeting, its against the law, they have to take permission and wait if granted or not, holding a meeting is not what is bad in the casino, but acting or being unlawful is more worse without following due process before taking hold of a meeting in any location of a casino.
