I will not be surprised that he will do x20 even a year since, he is influenced by influential people and organizations. many banks implement it. Yes it is also fast and secure as many top crypto currency for payment ...
But there is one important contrast - that is a wolf in sheep's clothing. It is completely centralized, its emission is unlimited. And theoretically for it you can buy up the whole BTC or other really valuable, limited, decentralized crypto currency .. On this topic now many guesses, read it yourself.

The market cap of bitcoin is 220 billion USD at the moment and the total market cap of all cryptocoins (including bitcoin and all altcoins!) is 582 billion USD.
If you believe that it can make x10, consider that the market cap of XRP will be 870 billion USD if it raise so  Smiley
So I guess the answer is no...it can’t have a marketcap more than bitcoin... I agree with you but don’t know why people talk so much about ripple
its can have a marketcap more than bitcoin of course! nothing is impossible you say it wrong, its not really likely
The market cap we see on cryptocoins today will be nothing compared to the market cap in 2018.
We have only just begun

Of course it can be 10-20x, I'd argue more than that.  Why? Because its only begun to exercise its UTILITY!!!  They have laid the infrastructure to actually pull off the "internet of value" where money flows as freely and cheaply the way information flows globally today.  They have a fantastic team, vision and the support of global government agencies and have only begun with household name partnerships such as American Express.  No other platform and team can compete and because they are solving a Quadrillion dollar problem, if they actually pull it off with only 50% of the market share of that problem at the end of the day why shouldn't they be worth $10 Trillion??  It may take 8-10 years but they are evaluated at $93B today.  Notwithstanding the limitations of relying on market cap you do the math on the difference there and make up your own mind whether they are undervalued.  Read this blog post and do your homework.  The biggest misconception is that they are centralized.  Nope, not the case at all.  They started that way for improved security but have taken measure to move to being completely decentralized.  Its a screaming deal at $2 because after the crypto crash in the near to mid-term future there will emerge a few titans of which Ripple will be one of them.  Look at Amazon and the dotcom bubble.  It was a bumpy road but they emerged as a titan.  Buy XRP now and don't touch it for any reason until they are mature as a company and utility.  Maybe thats 4 years or maybe its 8.

The price of ripple is already too high, so I don't recommend that you hold ripple, so if you want to get a high yield, invest in some ICO projects, which will make it easier to get high returns

Thats just a temporary trend and the price can back to normal. No body can predict exactly what will happen with Ripple price. So don't do a panic buy. 2018 Ripple can back to normal price.

It will probably drop some, but I'm confident it will never go back under $1 again. Look at all the crypto projects, and Ripple is the one with the outstanding current real-world use-case. XRP has the power to transform international finance, which is the biggest market there is. I think long-term it can only grow. I would not be at all surprised if this time next year XRP has a higher cap than bitcoin.

Ripple this week came in second place in terms of capitalization among all the Crypto-currency, having squeezed out to third place the Ether. How did this happen? Against the background of news from Japan and South Korea that XRP technology has introduced almost 100 banks. This should tell us that any crypto currency is primarily a maximally speculative tool! On news the crypt can fly up to the skies or fall below the skirting board. Consider this.

It will grow but how much no one can say. But it is a gud coin to invest for long term investment.

Definitely a good long-term bet... we are all wondering what the absolute maximum potential cap is. 10x increase would be close to $1 trillion cap. 100x increase would make Ripple ten times bigger than any company currently in existence.

ripple has been showing good potentials recently so i will say it's not a bad idea to invest in it. Looking at that it means it's very possible for the price to shoot up again because its market cap is increasing day by day. Good luck!

Well, ripple is one of the top altcoin in marketcap so i believe the price is remaining higher next year.
Regarding the price i dont think it can hit 10x in few years. Its because the supply of the ripple is too much.

If you invest on ripple, you have think that you are invested on the bank related financial option. Please choose the perfect coin than the ripple you will get the more value potential coin in the market place. Personally I do not suggest you to invest on the ripple at all. This is fucking centralized currency.

This coin's value can be controlled by the initial investors and dev team so value will be changes according to the supply as well as by them too.

I get that no one wants to get involved with centralized coins. However, with convenience in mind, especially if Ripple can be bought straight from Fiat, a lot of people would still go for it.

Yes, I believe that Ripple can have a cap of $1 trillion, which is a bit more than x10. This would put Ripple above such companies as Apple, Microsoft, Alphabet (Google), and possibly make it the world's biggest company.
After that we are entering the realm of unprecedented market caps - another x10 would mean a cap of $10 trillion - this is obviously much much harder to achieve. Not necessairly impossible, just difficult to envisage today.

there is nearly 40 billion of it available with the cap at 100 billion.
it is centralized and nobody likes, wants or uses such a system.

a pump may push it to 10x or even 70x as it happened before but it will not be a lasting rise. it always gets dumped eventually and comes down. so don't think of it as a long term investment ever.
