The Alt coin market topped ! BTC is up because people are moving out of Alts. Why because there is no new buyers. It's called a bear market. Moving into BTC is a good move. Every time you see a little green in Alts it's because either some one is trying to un load their coin on someone else or people that don't realize there's a top are buying with know one to sell to.
It's very simple if you buy and are up its because the market is moving up. If you buy and are loosing it's because the market is moving down.

Good I'm glad do your research look at the longtime previous charts on Bitcoin and Alts compare their Market caps. These markets are babies, but the same way the global banking system was invented through booms and bust this is the same way these markets work because their babies. It took many people loosing much money to develop the system we currently have, so never bite more then you can choose.

I would say most users chasing pumps are broke already they just don't know it yet.

I so much appreciate the effort for fhose who share with me thier experiences and advice ,I can assure that I have learned something better to move forward as I am not ready to give up ,and to those who mock me,remember you are once a newbie sometime ago,i am going to stay on the market with my funds

Its just money moving from alts to bitcoin and if you wait without being panic than those money will come back to alt when bitcoin price start to stabilize. Its just a normal process and i have seen this several times in past, when bitcoin price start to make bull run, alts will be in bloody bath.

If after one year you bought these coins they're still below your buying price maybe I would be a little worried, maybe, but for sure not after a few weeks.I'm new as well and the first time I bought some Bitcoin the price was 600 euro each, after 1 month I saw them at 480 euro. Did I panic? Yeah, a little, but at the same time I knew it was quite a long term investment and there was no need to sell them. Now, 10 months later, they're 1,600 euro.
So just keep calm and think that there is a good possibility that ETH, ETC and LTC will increase their value in the future

When bitcoin increases like it is doing now many people tend to cash out their alts causing a lot of the alts to decrease. We should at some point see this in reverse, it's entirely up to you and how brave you are, if you have alts like you said LTC and ETH these have more chance of being around long term the your average alt.
If you can suffer the loss and you sell now and your alts do increase after you have sold this can be quite frustrating believe me.

Personally I think most people are selling their alts because btc is on the rise. Alts will bounce back

you buy after the pump has happened and then hold the coins for a long time after you missed the chance to sell and keep losing money. you either lost a lot of money before you give up and sell or have to wait a very long time for that coin to get pumped again and you can make your exit with your money being stuck in orders for months even.
what you need to do is to learn what a "stop loss" is.
put simply, you sell when price goes down, lower than a level that you think you are not willing to lose more. and then buy back if and when you think the bottom is reached.
a good strategy is always buying when prices are low not after they are already high

when btc makes huge steps alts shrink back mostly

Ok, give me your opinion on this, I dont have much money, im currently saving money til the end of the year to invest in this businness, but im divided between to choices for that money...
1. Mine bitcoins, genesis mining has a liftime contract considering its a long term investment I think its worth it
or
2. Buy a bitcoin and exchange it for an IOTA token, cause its really does seem promising( the next big thing in this market, at least thats how I see it)

The bubble just popped my friend. I hope you didn't buy into the pump, whenever you see a pump i.e. a coin value going so high, just know that a dump is just around the corner. And what you are seeing is just that, now I'd suggest to just wait and settle the price value around a base number and then buy. And wait for the next pump for some profit.

In my opinion, you should keep waiting and do not buy or sell altcoin at this time because this is the time period have big changes in the price of bitcoin and that is affecting the value of altcoin, Bitcoin is pumped very strong and we can not know when it stopped, so best is you should not be trading in this period.
