Watching bitcoin it looks very weak and looks like it wants to go lower. Same situation as before it dropped lower than $1000.

Buying anything now you are buying with extreme risk as it is more likely to go lower at this point. I don't see a rally coming, especially considering the fact that it will only allow people to cash out. The smart money doesn't want to push for a rally and give an opportunity for people to cash out high.

I would just sit it out and wait at this point. $20 dollar litecoins are expensive.

You've been saying this for how many months now?  We get it.  You want discounted coins, who doesn't?

Yep, I think most people missed the point. I was referring to $20 ltcs. Anyway, I sold at $25.5 and got the same amount in at $24. Also picked up some nmc and I'll be buying as much as I can of my favourite coins while they're cheap.

I am more interested in getting Bitcoin back to a price that's usable.

$20 bitcoins are ideal...not hard on the wallet to get a bunch and easy to spend.

I mean who has $1200 to spend when all they need is .05BTC and the exchange fees kill you when for small amounts of BTC.  Also, who the heck wants to spend BTC when its $1200?

Exchanges fees are always certain % of your filled order. Does not matter if you buy 100 BTC $1 each or 0.1 BTC $1,000 each, the fee is the same $ amount.

K so your saying it costs the same to buy .10BTC 10 ten times as it does to buy 1BTC once?

Yes, .05% is still .05% no matter what the price is... .10 BTC @ 20 $/ BTC = 1 btc @ 20$ / BTC .. 05% of the same number is still the same percentage

From Mt.Gox

You can do bank transfers to our bank in Japan in the following currencies:
USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, CHF, SEK, DKK, NOK, AUD , NZD, HKD, SGD.  Any fee charged by your bank or an intermediate bank will be deducted.  Our bank charges a 1,500 Yen receiving fee.

This is cause for laughter.  The utility of bitcoin does not rely on pricing.  Of course everyone wants to buy 20$ BTC but sorry buddy you already missed that train, just hope on the current one and ride it.  If bitcoin has proven anything, its the fact that assuming one had never sold, investing in BTC has never resulted in a loss that wasnt an exponential gain if it had only been held.

You're completely missing the point.
The price being 1$/BTC isn't going to make Bitcoin easier to use than it being priced at 5976$/BTC.

I hope you do realise you can also buy / sell 0.01BTC?

mark me words, we are not getting to $100 before the majority on here thinks that no fcking way would they pay $100 for a single btc. This means that something is going to be announced in the next few weeks that would make everybody think 3 times before buying a single bitcoin at $100. This is how it rolls folks. we need absolute fear and the gnashing of teeth to happen first. we will say goodbye to a lot of the posters on  here by then too!

You sound like those same people who were so sure of themselves there would be fear and panic and bitcoin was going back to $20 or lower after the April crash. It didn't happen, in fact we didn't even come close to pre-bubble levels. This time it won't be any different. You can buy at $400-500 if you're lucky and catch the next train to 10k. Smiley
all bulls must be countered, here goes. my big mistake was last time I sold out at average price $150? before it crashed to like $50/$60 that i didn't back up the truck at $60 damn. i just took my eye off ball for 6 months. I originally got in at $7. now to your post, if you think $400 is cheap for a little portion of a hard disk storing a few 1's and 0's then i got a Brigde  to sell you in Brooklyn.

Splash your face with some icy water and Connect with REALITY man!!

greedy pig 20$ are possible but not very realistic, before that 10.000 people will buy coins at 100$ ^^

OP is talking about LTC, not BTC price. It's quite obvious $20 in BTC world is unreal.
I wouldn't say $20 in the BTC world is unreal, though it's clear OP is talking about LTC. BTC could go down to $20, but it would take something catastrophic; something that Bitcoin may not be able to recover from. In other words, if Bitcoin goes down to $20, buying may then actually be a mistake.

Really? If a single bitcoin costs $100 now, I'd buy 30 coins immediately. I know others who would do the same.

He sold out at 100$ during the SR flash crash and has been beating himself up since, don't worry about it, if you look at his post history hes been screaming crash the whole time.  Don't take offense, I'm sure he succeeded to the same bad advice at one point and sold lower and bought back higher.. over and over again, now his mission is to get back in at 100$ or hes just going to leave his money there..
Yeah you basically got the facts more or less right. I call it straight as it is, I am a bear until it gets to $100 after which I will get back my original btcs and then its to da moon like all you slobbering sons of briskets. however though i also watching all the threads with geniune interest as i get some schandenfreduze too out of it.
