We shouldn't actually start calling this the end of Bitcoin by seeing the current dips. The dips are just because of the panic selling that is going on in the community. Bitcoin will surely go up in time as people stop panic selling and definitely this isn't the end of something like Bitcoin so easily. Hopefully, Bitcoin won't die for many more years to come and we will see bitcoin used in as many places as we could.

it is partially bad news from bitcoin, if only the issue of the decline in bitcoin prices continues to be said to be dead, that is not true. bitcoin always rise from adversity and will surely recover.

First crypto index traded as a token!
This is a very negative point of view. You got to keep the faith. After all, we have seen bitcoin coming from around $1000 rising to $20000. So, when the price is dropping to $6000, does not mean that it's the end of bitcoin. However, a bull change is ahead and the price will shoot up again. At the end of the year bitcoin will reach 30K.

The scammers and crooks finally won! Congratulations because even your fiat will be near worthless at some point too! The economic freedom of the people is once again destroyed by the animalia raised by bad handlers.

To the "Lending" companies (hey man, do you think I can get my money back soon), I salute you.

To Bitmain and "the plan", I salute you.

To Wall Street who always knows my future, I salute you.

To the newbie crypto-millionaires, who only like the part about making easy money, I salute you.

To the lower middle-class who borrowed all the equity in their homes to buy crypto and told everyone about it, I salute you.

To the SEC who will wait until every crypto is worthless to go after anyone, I salute you.

To the old school crypto nerds, who cashed out in 2017 when they saw what was coming, great job!

I still remember the days when getting anything over a 1% yield on a bank account was something to brag about.

One day I will tell my grand kids about the time in 2017 when everyone except politicians were happy and it was a joy to work at any job because you had real money that actually could make you more real money. Time to find the next bubble...
Just because some stupid people who have no clues about the cryptocurrency who just got into bitcoin just for the money as soon as they saw some people making profit from it, just because these people have quit as soon as the price went down doesn't mean that bitcoin will die because of them, bitcoin have made it all the way to the top with only a few people using it, the people who believe in it as an idea and who support it no matter what, so as long as those people still exist bitcoin will always live on.

One year ago the price for 1 BTC was $1,000 and now the price is $7,000. Can you please explain why it is the death of something that increased its value for 700% within one year? Does fiat money investments bring an unlike higher rentability and that is why you call BTC dead?

Or do you suggest it would be dead because it lost $12,000 within one year? And who specifically lost such huge amounts? Exactly, the investors you salute to. So who cares? I use BTC since a very long time as a payment method and I still have a huge financial advantage with it. Wink

Grin its not over yet and I must say you tried in your write up but at the same time you where too narrow to think that 2017 was the best year of bitcoin because the best is yet to come and bitcoin is here to stay. Bitcoin has not and will not end any time soon because the party has just started. All that is happening right now is volatility in action.

If you'll treat BTC like a "get rich fast" scheme, you'll get burned.

Trying to get rich quick is a great way to get poor quick. This is even more true for the likes of Bitcoin. It's almost as if cryptocurrencies are schooling their own speculators. Alts being a prime example. I hope people learned their lessons from all those cancelled flippenings of 2017.

Don't let others control your BTC -> self custody
OP probably bought in December/January hoping for a big gain and now sold it all and is making stupid threads to feel better about it. Don't act out here, get some fresh air, rethink everything and come back to us. Usually those low sellers like you, panic kids who went in with their parent's money, grow up and go back in.
I know people like that who lost money in 2015 and when it was going up in 2017 started talking about buying again.

The biggest problem most users of bitcoins call processing speed.

To the lower middle-class who borrowed all the equity in their homes to buy crypto and told everyone about it, I salute you.

Unless you're one of these "lower middle-class" optimistic dreamers that thought buying in at 17K was a good idea, you should be fine. The technology is barely getting started, this wasn't so much a classic bubble as it was a hiccup showing us the potential of what it can bring. Keep working those "safe" jobs and invest smart, or rather, start something of your own because even if the market crashes and burns... the only people with smiles on their faces are the ones that know they have the tools to build it all back up again.

Happy investings,

The DIZ team

Well i agree, congratulations to those that sold in 2017 since they've made the most out of the situation but i don't share the same sentiment with the other things you've stated. A lot of people again are saying btc is dead or the bubble has popped. If you want to believe that then do so. Just don't blame anyone if btc breaks another all time high probably later this year lol

Bitcoin will outlive a lot of people on this forum if not everyone, the beginning of the bitcoin growth isnt here yet, its just begun. After he regulations and all it'll skyrocket.

Bitcoin will still existing if there's more who wants it. Many people interested in crypto currency but due to the fact of bad rumors about it, the currency become bad and its going down. But if there is still a value there's still a hope of bitcoin crypto currency.

bitcoin and crypto world is not over yet, fiat will survive, but bitcoin will always threaten fiat currency because bitcoin is accepted by the world.

and the last, all the world's central banks will use blockchain technology to attract more public because when bitcoin is received by the world, many people leave fiat.

and it will happen, even though it has to go through a long process.

From where this people are coming from?

You have all be warned when bitcoin was moving towards $20K that you shouldn't invest, and no one listened.

You created bubble. Yes, you!

Now you are saying bitcoin is dead?

Yes, it is dead, now hit ALT + F4, delete this forum from bookmarks and all other crypto sites, go away and never use bitcoin again. Leave other bitcoiners alone.

Relatively speaking, the internet is still in its infancy. Cryptocurrency is certainly not dead yet.
The only thing that seems to have lived out its exciting development is rock n roll!

you should really stop talking about something you actually don't know. and about the "borrowing" part - only insane, greedy and gambler type shit people do that (borrow money to make a profit on something that he/she knows nothing about) - no sympathy to them.

They can kill BTC, but it will never ever die. They always did it with FUDs, regulations, bans, and many more. But in the end BTC still lives. So if you only base bitcoin's death with it's price, you might be true. But as long as there are people using BTC, it will continue til it rise again.

The negative issue should not be faced with panic, so the market becomes worse. The more bad comments then the confidence in Bitcoin will decrease so that this action will make the situation more difficult.
Hold and do not say anything without proof. This is better

While this thread hits home more than some others.
I think the main point to take from this is, certain people like to create negativity on the board.
