Of course it is possible, but it is your responsibility which commercial operations are convenient for you and any not, if you enter into these types of operations or negotiations you must be clear about the risks, I would advise in the short term, but if you have the confidence do it in the long term.

Many individuals begin trading without fully understanding the contract's fundamentals. A winner and a loser are available for each trade. In order to hedge their other positions, many firms and professional fund managers use futures. To lower the risk of their portfolio, they are using their futures contract.
In the market whether in spot or futures, there will always be a winner and loser. If someone gains, it's someone's loss.

In futures trading, long term success comes from mastering three disciplines. You are probably familiar with these rules if you are a successful stock trader. First, you need a proven process of trading that works for trading futures. Next, proper techniques for money management can go a long way to helping you win the futures trading game. Lastly, you are likely to lose whenever your feelings control your trading.
The last part for me is the most important. Whether how good you are in strategies and you're very good in analysis through charts if you're very emotional, don't feel sorry for yourself but you're likely to lose.

Feelings that control your decisions is one of the most important parts of it, it is definitely not something I would have expected out of just futures, it is true for every single trading as well, people act as if it is nothing important but if you put your emotions into the crypto world that would be basically ruining your whole system, that is why I think it is quite important that we do not end up with emotions controlling because that is the biggest mistake.

However rest are truly futures, it is also quite risky so you need to be a good veteran trader in order to really do it, if you are not a good trader that had great success on regular buy/sell trading world (spot) that means you are not going to be great at futures neither. In order to be great at futures, you need to be great at spot first, I have never met anyone in my life who lost money on spot and was bad at it but somehow became good in futures trading.

Say my wallet it 1000USDT can I use 100USDT on a short
If it goes up and I get liquidated can I lose the full 1000 or just the 100.
And the same question if I use smaller amounts like 20 or 50

It depends on the leverage margin mode you're on. On Binance, there's isolated and cross margins. The difference between the two lies in the fact that cross margin depends on your full balance (in your futures account) while trades made in isolated margin, it only take into account the amount you put on the trade to sustain the trade in the event of a liquidation. With cross margin, when it gets to the initial liquidation price, your futures account balance is used to sustain the position for much longer.

Like I said, it depends on the margin mode you're on. If you're on cross margin and your futures balance is $1000 and then you proceeded to use $100 for a trade. If the trade doesn't go your way and on brick of liquidation, more margin will get added from $900 remaining to keep the position open. If the price keeps going against you, at a point, you will get liquidated and your account will be wiped and rekt (aka $1000 to zero).  For isolated, only $100 is used. Your futures balance isn't touched.

Since you're still new to futures, I suggest using low Leverages for your positions and increase as time goes on or as you get more familiar with it.

You really need to do how long you can wait because if you are have a lot of patience you can do longterm but if not shorterm is good for you but even you do that you will need a patience and that is the key to earn money. But I highly recommended that you do a longterm because most of the investors and traders earn by choosing this because if the market dump you will not panic because you do a longterm and mostly those traders who are do shorterm mostly panic selling.

I am new in cryptocurrency Trading. I want to know, Can i trade Future Trading for long term or short term...🙄

Obviously yes but as a beginner (I believe you're), you should go for the short term future trades provided you have acquired all the necessary knowledge and information needed to be successful both at the traditional trading in general and future trading to be precised. The market is very volatile that's it's hard to predict exactly what tommorow holds for the market. The sentiment now can be a bullish scenario come months time but a change as a result of fud could alter everything.

Also we know the global economy is still struggling and recovering, and bitcoin still react to the outcome of the global economy therefore a scenario when the market experience some downtrend could trigger a reaction from the cryptocurency market which will result to a dump in price. Just to play it safe and minimum your risk, all trade should be done in short timeframe at the moment until everything stabilizer and the fear of another pandemic is out of the picture.

Yes you can, though it's not advisable to do it for long term, you can do it. But make sure you do have margin for to have a long and far liquidation price. I saw some with a very long position and the profits is really huge. But thus kind of trade is very risky, if your position is good make sure to adjust always the TP with a good profit. That's the advantage of having that feature to make sure even when your set is hit you are already on gain.

It's better short term (less than a month normally).

Other options like binance margin (where you pay 8% interest a year on money lent) will be a lot cheaper than using futures.

I agree, swing trades / short term trades are better nowadays, things change so fast which makes it better

I am thinking of getting in to futures on Binance
I have about a 75% success rate with normal trading and want to increase my profits.
I know there are dangers but I am starting with a small budget will use stop losses and only plan on x10 rates

I have been reading and watches vids on this put have a question
Can I only lose what I put on the trade or if it is liquidated can I lose all the money in my wallet

Say my wallet it 1000USDT can I use 100USDT on a short
If it goes up and I get liquidated can I lose the full 1000 or just the 100.
And the same question if I use smaller amounts like 20 or 50

More and more you see derivative (futures) contract called perpetuals.
Meaning there is no expiration date so, in practice, you can trade them long term.
Yes perpetuals don't expire but Bitmex also has other futures contracts that do expire and therefore one can trade them by holding positions long term. A newbie could easily trade them minus knowing the type of contract they just longed or shorted.

This guide has a list of Live futures contracts along with their expiry dates

Because crypto prices are very volatile I recommend trading for long-term, because current crypto price movements are difficult to predict.
For newbies who do not have good analytical skills, it is very risky when trading short-term. But for long-term trading, we only need to wait
for the price to rise to reach the target we have set. Then my advice is to buy coins that are popular and have high volume. So that
the percentage of success is higher.

Trading is good for short term. But if you want to make money from it, you have to be diligent doing it because many are also getting a not so good result as they trade. Most specially in being a newbie in trading, you need to gain experience first.

Without having such, you'll throw money on it but if you have the purpose of doing it and for the sake of learning. Those loss will be worth it for you because you're learning with it. Start with small amount and learn the basics.

It's is absolutely dependent on the type of trader that you are. If what works best for you is day trading, then you'd lose money if you try to trade on the long term. Swing trader can sometimes place a trade and it will last for 4 weeks and even more.
I think what you really need to find out is what of trader you are. You might have to try it yourself with some demo account so you don't blow your capital. Take your chances with and try in the process, discover what type of trader that you are.

Futute trading is not good for long term  as i loss their. You can earn 10% or even more in futute trading but its not a stable market and you can lose your money.
I advise you to do a spot trading and make profit here . its almost risk free

As a trader you can utilize futures options as a trading tool for a long term outlook on physical (Gold, Crude Oil, etc) and financial futures (Stock Indicies, Bonds, etc).

First you need passion and you should have some money.
My opinion is better you find a experienced trader and follow their instructions.
Because I was losted lots of money when I start trading. Finally I learned. Because I have passion.

Consider short term for future trading.
To be frankly speaking, future trading is for the expert traders and also to those with deep pockets who takes out gains for a very short time as possible as they can.

It's would be risky for a new trader like you to consider trading futures, all future day traders should close trades within 24 hrs of entry, never keep it long as it may ruin your portfolio.

for a beginner I suggest the short term, because it is easier to return the capital you invest. because if it is long term there will be a lot of risk and must be good at analyzing the coins being traded

The most important investment part is the long term because if you want to reach a position then no option without long-term investment. Short-term investment is excellent for immediate profit but there is high volatility but if want to establish yourself in the capital market then the future investment should be long term. Long-term investment may suffer from many ups and down situations but in the last, you will achieve more value for your patients.
