Yes sir I will understand all of this ...
Then how we can get merit point.
On This

Unfortunately, you don't understand anything - otherwise, you wouldn't ask such a question, because the answer lies in your post history. All your posts are related to bounty campaigns and have no value at all - and if you continue like that, you can have 10 000 of them and you won't earn single merit.

^ bounties are just one of the ways you can make money but it isn't limited to that you can literally sell anything you have even it can be a digital good via forum market place. Becoming a moderator is actually going to give you salary but don't think theymos is not interested in hiring mods anymore especially a random newbie who posted 4 bounty posts and asking how to earn here.

I clearly stated that a friend introduced me to this forum, that should mean he might have explained a substantial amount of how things work here but not everything... obviously. 😹
So me asking about the bounty program was to see if there was more to it
It wasn't necessarily because I knew nothing about it .

Okay, but what exactly do you want to know then? It's obvious the people here want to help you, but you may be asking the wrong questions.
You claim you don't understand bounties but you already take part in them. In addition, at the top of this board, there is a sticky thread: Newbies - Read before posting. Did you read it? Yes, your questions are meaningless if you are not willing to read.

And proof of authentication posts doesn't mean I have all the idea of how bounties work...

Oh, okay. Don't you understand how the awards work? But the first 4 posts are registrations for the bounty. Tell us, what are you going to do there, since you still don't understand anything?
Again, a beginner who wants to get everything very quickly.
Your post reminds me of a hungry boy who ran into the kitchen and looked into every saucepan asking, expecting to eat quickly.
If you are in such a hurry, you will very quickly be extinguished in your desires.
And yes, high barriers like becoming a forum moderator starting with bounty programs are good motivation.
And what? Everything happens in this world.  Grin

Seriously you don't have to blame him when I joined the forum around 2019 the only thing I believe this forum is for is just bounty, which I don't even know what merit was and I heard you can be ban on the forum so I was scared to even visit other section because I believe if I can post in other sections I will be ban I only focus on bounty section alone. my mentality about the forum changed early this year when I started following other high rank People in the forum

So advise for you is that don't be in hurry to look for money, seriously if you can rank up in the forum you will definitely enjoy the friut of your labour and don't also forget to familiarize yourself with forum rules.

To attract merit you need to make quality posts, engage in discussion and share ideas and useful information in the forum and avoid plagiarism.

Before engaging in any activity make sure you are familiar with the forum rules.
You are right about the steps, but why don't you do it?
I can say that 80% more of your posts are on altcoin bounty board which doesn't do much to prove that you can do it even if you know how it works. I'm not sure how you can advise others to be rewarded when you're not yet interested in trying harder. Can I say it's all bullshit?

I will start by welcomed you on the forum first.your question should be answered step by step, to be start with earning, you can only earn btc when you ascertain the requirements of the community through the possible activities of bitcointalk community, any member who did not violates the protocol have the chance of  earning in future, so in the aspect of merit, you can earn merit through making a quality post that is fully of emulations and innovative, so this is a simple concept that's can guarantee a beginner the chance of elevation. Just follow this step below
• observation
• determination
• read before posting
• accept correction
• abstain from plagarism
• research

The most popular way of earning here is by joining a bounty campaign, but if you like to be more familiar with the forum try to be more active by participating in the discussion, eventually, as you earn merits you'll rank up and you'll be able to join a signature campaign and earn some bitcoins which you can either convert or save (it's up to you).

Bounty campaign is the easiest way but there's no guarantee that you'll earn real money after the project due to high rate of failed projects, but like I said, if you are just active and made helpful post, you might be able to join in signature campaign one day and you'll earn real money.

It might be obvious to you but not to another...
Especially not to a newcomer
And proof of authentication posts doesn't mean I have all the idea of how bounties work...
And even if I did
A little clerification and validation from the community won't hurt would it?

As long as my question is not meaningless which it isn't as it contributes to the "AIM" of the community which is to help educate everyone... as stated by you.

in every bounty where you applied, in the first OP post you have all rules, what tasks you need to do.
it would be ideal to read it all first and determine if it is for you. also a little introduction to the project itself would be helpful, you don't want to spend your time advertising something which will never have value or have any future.

So again, read carefully the opening post in the bounty thread, all bounty rules, then participate or not.

So I just got into the forum not too long ago as directed by a friend and although the interfaces are kind of complex to comprehend, I find here a very profitable environment of learning about the cryptocurrency space.
So here are some questions I would love to ask :

Apart from the highly rich information about cryptocurrencies that can be gotten in this forum, can you also earn?

I heard of bounties and I'm yet to properly know how it works, but aside from the bounties program are there any other medium of earning here?

And again

How do I attract merits?
What do you mean by quality posts? Is this an example?
Who owns the Bitcointalk forum?

And I would really love to be a moderator here one day
I love the flexibility that the job gives.
How long will that take?

Xxx
You did a good thing asking these questions and i believe you've gotten lots of answers already. You can earn quite reasonably from bounty campaigns advertising their works on social media, signature is also a way you can earn on the forum but i don't think you can do that as a newbie, only jr members and above can join signature campaign.
To attract merit you need to make quality posts, engage in discussion and share ideas and useful information in the forum and avoid plagiarism.

Before engaging in any activity make sure you are familiar with the forum rules.

post constructively, interact with users, join discussions, share useful information, etc... if you want merits, do those things. posting bounty reports won't get you any merits.

And I would really love to be a moderator here one day
I love the flexibility that the job gives.
How long will that take?
I don't know how long it'll take, but if you are consistent and continuously build up your reputation you'd probably become one. also, just because someone has a pretty good reputation does not mean they will become a moderator.

There may be a bounty campaign that goes beyond the usual waste of time, but I would answer your question this way: You are more likely to make more money if you sit on a street and play an instrument than in most bounty campaigns.

And I would really love to be a moderator here one day
I love the flexibility that the job gives.
How long will that take?

Moderators can be global or just assigned to their local board, and the decision is made by the admin. Members of each local board can nominate someone for moderator, and there are of course some criteria. Here is what the admin says on the subject :

Report history is the most important consideration for a moderator candidate. Over the forum's many years, relatively "newbie" members with good report histories have consistently done much better as mods than veteran, well-respected members with poor report histories. That said, not all reports are equal, so a simple report count doesn't tell the whole story. Also, in addition to report histories, it's necessary to consider factors such as the ability of the candidate to be neutral, their trustworthiness, etc. It's also nice to choose a moderator who people generally already trust/respect, but sometimes this is outweighed by other factors.

If a poll is created, I will not completely ignore the results, but I will also not use it as a primary influence. I'm more interested in arguments people have for or against certain candidates.

If you really want to be a moderator one day I think you're wrong to admit publicly that you want to do it obviously because it's a paid job - not because you care about the forum. Regardless of your intentions and desires, the question is are you ready to invest a lot of time in this forum, or are you just another in a series of casual passers-by?

I don't think theymos would assign new and/or replace mods anytime soon, let alone the mod of this board was inactive for 3 years.
He might just create a new thread one day on who's willing and able to mod a specific board like this one for P&S board back in 2018 - Who is able and willing to moderate the Politics & Society section?

How do I attract merits?

Not with proof of authentication posts in bounty campaigns. Bounty hunters aren't exactly merit-worthy candidates.
By the way, welcome to the forum, but you will have to work much harder than this.

It seems that the author invited friends because in this forum can make money.
Not wrong, but this forum is so good you have to understand the procedures for you to succeed. Try to be useful for forums, with your posts. After that you will get results from your efforts for the forum.
So don't think about money just try to be a useful user first. I'm sure if you're serious you'll succeed. All your friends here will appreciate your efforts.

This forum gives me alot of benefit im totally noob at the year i register and start on the forum but now im on the hero rank this forum gives tons of information i need and avoid those scam platform, website and projects.

Apart from the highly rich information about cryptocurrencies that can be gotten in this forum, can you also earn?

You can visit our service board and try to visit those signature campaigns and you can offer your skills too.

How do I attract merits?
What do you mean by quality posts? Is this an example?

By creating a quality, informative, not copy paste and helpful thread you can get merit as long as you have this you don't need to beg merits because many people will surely give if they saw it. Its better to build your own reputation and be a quality member so they see you as a good and not a spam member.

The forum is not a Join-to-Earn forum, honestly but there are ways to earn here.
  • Signature Campaign Guidelines (read this before starting or joining a campaign)
  • Don't misunderstand between signature campaigns and signature bounty in bounties. They are different in quality and requirement to join. It's best to join signature campaigns paid by Bitcoin. You will get a valuable payment whilst with signature bounty, you will receive tokens that can be valueless in the end.
  • Additionally, if you join signature campaign, you will have to focus and improve your post quality that help you in long run

an interesting trend is here on the forum. "Newbies" comes here and asks obvious questions about some banal things.
For example, OP asks about merit, how to attract. So it's obvious that he knows about the merit system here what it is for and what it is benefits. however, he did not research more about the forum, what are quality posts.
Also, he is interested in bounty and earnings opportunities of which he knows nothing, though his first four posts are the prof of auth in bounty threads.

After all, it would be logical for him to come here again and read the answers he received. surely there is something else he did not understand.

Most of them nowadays come here straight away to earn cryptocurrencies or money. Most of them have no idea what they are dealing with and only know one thing in general. Merits = High earnings whereas it should have been, Learn then Earn merits = Earnings.

It might be obvious to you but not to another...
Especially not to a newcomer
And proof of authentication posts doesn't mean I have all the idea of how bounties work...
And even if I did
