From the very beginning, he was not a good fit for bitcoin. He knew about bitcoin through his friends, but instead of learning about it himself, he came up here asking people to give him a compelling reason to invest. I am wondering, is investing in bitcoin good for him or for us? So for someone who is always doubtful and lazy, spending time giving them advice is a waste of time.

Hmm seems you've already got many reasons given by the community and if you still haven't made up your mind I think then you are not fit for the Bitcoin community. Don't take me wrong as you know Bitcoin is a digital asset and P2P payment mode its the most reliable in the crypto industry it is a potential store of value as well with the highlighted features and investors cant stop themselves from investing In Bitcoin. Freedom gives you power from an investor's point of view you are free to choose after so many suggestions because we cant force you as it's your money.
I think BTC is useful for long-term investment.
We don't know how long BTC exists, no guarantee about it.But if we want to invest for the target profits of 4-5 years, Bitcoin is one of the good choices. We can check its price history, it always rises significantly every 4 years (bullrun season).
now there is a chance to save money if fiat inflation occurs. However, the chance is not high, but it still exists. So I think it's quite useful to have some btc in the savings.
Putting money in BTC isn't for saving, it is an investment. If you want to have a saving, you can put money in banks or on Gold.BTC price is very volatile, the price is never stable. No guarantee that the amount of money will remain the same after a few months/years.

My reason for you to invest in bitcoin would be; we are living in the digital era were most financial transactions are all built around digital platforms..and with these comes limited control from traditional channels such as fiat and if you want total freedom of your finances and be your own bank.. nothing out there beats crypto and what better way to enjoy financial freedom by investing in bitcoin.

Some are into bitcoin for financial freedom without depending on the banking system, some buy it for the potential ROI, some others use it as a retirement plan, the purpose is different for different people.

I second this. The decision to make that investment and risk your money on the line isn't for your friend to make or whatever acquaintance or relative you have. That solely lies upon you cause at the end of the day, it's your own moolah you'll be putting down and would be risking, you can't have scapegoats when shit hits the fan and you lose it all. Whatever the reason for investing really, it has to become something that came from your own volition. Understand what bitcoin is and what value it offers, then decide to buy or not.

In that regard, I suggest that OP look into a couple of revered articles and researches about bitcoin, maybe even give the whitepaper itself a quick-read since Satoshi Nakamoto made it understandable to even the dumbest form of dimwits on the internet. Look it up, research, and then from there decide whether you should invest in it, or bitcoin's not for you. Don't put in money just cause "a friend told me I'm gonna be rich with this". That's just stupid and will definitely get you in trouble someday.

I think the best thing you can do for yourself is research about bitcoin and understand the concept behind the tech before you come to a decision.
For you, I think you should do your own research on issues where you don't understand the fundamentals and potential value of any investment before making a decision. If unsure, educate yourself about Bitcoin and its value proposition so you can make informed choices that align with your personal goals and values. One of the reason why you should invest in bitcoin is that, Bitcoin will be the future currency, and their are lot's of advantages that's in making transaction with bitcoin, and with time most countries that are banning bitcoin won't have choice than to just accept bitcoin. Well the truth be told that you don't have to be convinced by anyone before getting into crypto because it has to be a personal decision.
There are alot of advantages when getting involved into bitcoin and cryptocurrency at large but the truth is that nothing is certain in the cryptocurrency industry not even the gains that is promised .
If you've heard and read some more about bitcoin, you must have heard that it is a volatile asset and as such, it can rise and as well fall and the volatile nature is what determines the gain and the losses in the business.
Answering to your questions directly, there are several reasons why you should own bitcoin and some reasons are;
~ privacy: bitcoin offers freedom and privacy from government monitoring on like fiat which is been monitored and tracked my the government.
~ 24/7 hours availability which means that it can be purchased at anytime.

Take a perspective from the past and introspect why now I have to earn Bitcoins or let's say buy Bitcoins, and basically some people are targeting their plans for the future in terms of keeping their assets in Bitcoins and doing their digital investment phase at the same time, but you will get what it all means from Bitcoin when you already understand Bitcoin and the knowledge of other colleagues.
You already know bitcoin and you don't believe in it, it's your choice. I have no reason to give you any advice, but I just wanted to tell you. You missed a huge opportunity by not investing in bitcoin, and you will regret it like many others.
