I've watched all Makoto Shinkai's works.
Kimi no na wa / Your name, the last work, is amazing in all it's aspect but i prefer 5cm per second for the deep story charaterized of long distance beetwen the 2 lovers, trait found in many Shinkai's operas.
5cm per second is slow and strugle, just for few ones.

Hotarubi no mori e. I also recommend Zutto mae kara suki deshita. The title is long but it's from Honey works.
Both of those were really nice. Definitely worth watching.

Try watching Fairy tail, dragonball super, one piece, naruto, and hitman reborn. i like watching does anime because the story of those anime are so awesome. and also try watching another if you prefer horror type of anime and if like sad story try watching anohana the last episode is the best it will make you cry and if you like comedy try watching baka to test.
i like the animation of "Bolt" it is fun to watch
Try watching the Anime “Haikyuu”. The story is very interesting especially when your an athlete . You can somehow relate to the story. the sruggles and many more.
One piece will be the greatest for you to be watched.
Future Diary and Boku Dake ga Inai Machi one of the most atmosphere animes which I watched for my life.
If you liked the atmosphere of BokuMachi I would recommend Shinsekai Yori. The atmosphere is similar, the story very different. Extremely well produced and written and the music is fantastic too.
my all time favorite is Peach girl 
i think you should try watching Boruto and dragon ball super, they are all great anime.
