Usually yes. we buy an altcoin and wait for the price increase and then sell. this is the basic and first rule of trading. but not only this. some time when we see an altcoin's price is dropping. then we also buy and save them. in that case the price will get up mostly. and one more way is buy from one exchange and sell them from another exchange or manually..
for example:
Litecoin price in yobit is 0.003Btc. and it is price in c-cex is 0.0032 btc. like this.

WOW @OrangeSeller this input is great and it's really getting to the core. In a usually trade what is the approximate wait time before we get a nice price for the investment.

Do you suggest the BTC that we should have for a good trade. Currently i am trading in bittrex with 0.3 BTC.

The suggested coin is good in trading. You may see also this coin. It gives me a lot of profit.,
