I think a lot of people around us has told us that Bitcoin is a FAD or a SCAM or a Ponzi scheme.

Some of our closest relatives have told us to SELL before the BUBBLE will burst. {guess we hear that enough?}

The media is telling everyone that Bitcoin is the tool of criminals and terrorists and child pornographers and paedophiles.

Most of these people are not invested in Bitcoin, but it looks like they are looking for reasons to attack it.

How many of you want to prove them wrong? I sometimes look at these people and I think... WTF are you on about?

I seldom bring up the subject anymore, because everything coming out of their mouths are negative. The only time when they

are interested, is when the price hits a all time high. Then they want advice to invest in Bitcoin and when they buy at the ATH,

and the price drop with 10%, then they panic sell....lose money....blame Bitcoin. I am sooooo sick of this.

I hope we can finally prove them wrong in the near future, because this is definitely getting under my skin now.  Roll Eyes

I believe we can't treat every criticism equally.  Instead, it's important to realized that there are some valid concerns which need to be taken seriously, while others are based on simple ignorance.

People claiming that Bitoin is a fad, scam or Ponzi scheme, certainly don't understand the subject well enough but will eventually realize they are wrong.

Whether bitcoin is currently experiencing a bubble is debatable. I have seen well articulated and well reasoned arguments pro and contra.

Bitcoin (and more so other cryptos) having the potential to provide alternative avenues for anti-money laundring and criminal financing, is undisputed. Whether it's USED for such activities as much as some believe is another question.

As long as all criticisms launched against bitcoin are treated as hostile and attempted to be proven wrong, as long progress in converting opponents into proponents will remain very slow. With a more differentiate approach to responding to criticism, the conversion will be much more effective and faster.

I just ignore those people and keep doing what i do on my own, when the time come to prove them wrong, let's rub it in their faces. For now, just hold it in and don't listen to their banter about bitcoin.I'm sure we will not be affected by them in the slightest, just focus and wait for our time to come.

You can't prove all of them wrong because there will always be some people who dont belive in bitcoin and will  call it a scam, a ponzi scheme or a bubble. That's not happening only with bitcoin, in almost all investment some people belive they are good while some people think they are scams. For example forex, I think it is a profitable investment if you are a specialist in doing this thing but a lot of people think that the odds are not in ypur favour and forex trading is something like gambling wich could be if you are a newbie and invest in everything you find.

No need to bother proving them about bitcoin if they don't believe it then that is OK it is their lost, If they will spread FUD then prove them they are wrong by spreading positive thoughts about bitcoin, If your family member will told you to get a job instead of getting involve with bitcoin then show them that you progress with bitcoin, Maybe one day they will change their minds.

I dont talk about it to anyone anymore because the negativity is too much.
I am confident they will all be proven wrong in the not so distant future.

Those same negatine people may end up looking to get into crypto in a few
years when they see the benefits.

Well I do know people who have been called crazy when they got into crypto. Now they are the ones laughing as those that made fun of them try to get in now at prices much higher than years before.

Obviously there are risks if you are just in for some quick bucks. Those are the people that say they "lost" their money
