We know that blockchain is popular because of Bitcoin.
And now the adoption of blockchain technology has been widely spreading in some sectors, not only in the cryptocurrency industry. Some governments in some countries also have been using this blockchain adoption to support their system.
But, in fact, the use of blockchain technology is always separated from the thought of cryptocurrency itself.

I think for proper research and accountability, the blockchain use will benefit most companies. But the legal status of cannabis is what I can not say exactly but blockchain will give a better understanding and accuracy in the industry incase information are improperly managed, blockchain can do that.

We should also be careful about not having any sort of difference between blockchain and cryptocurrencies. The reason for this is that people at the top will try to say things like "blockchain is awesome but I am not so sure about crypto", and many already have said this, plenty of people shared this idea. That basically means that maybe blockchain should be used in the traditional markets and we should ignore crypto. We can't do that, blockchain is indeed awesome but it is awesome when used in the crypto world, if visa, or wall street or banking world started to use blockchain, that would be of course very nice but we can't just give up on crypto in that case.

It’s a good idea, that’s if they can really pull it off. I have seen a lot of ideas that seems great in the cryptocurrency market but the problem is usually from the team, they don’t have a good plan at all and lacks on promoting their business well, so they end up lacking investors. So this would be a good addition, if they can create a really nice platform and launch their tokens and get investors to invest in it and make profit. Cannabis is a profitable business and I believe that there would be people ready to invest if the team should market themselves petty well.

Well, if a company is innovative and is very much up to date in terms of new available technologies that would help its business operations grow, it is likely that it would employ the blockchain technology in storing important data.

The use of blockchain technology has actually been implemented in various industries for a more efficient and transparent data storage and access. As a matter of fact, it's not just private industries that have employed blockchain. Even certain government agencies are using it.

The legalized cannibis industry has long used blockchain based ledger systems to track production and distribution of goods. Before that I think merck and walmart were originally responsible for pioneering the basic fundamentals of the system. That's a good topic we could use updates on now that they should have years of experience using the architecture and should be able to provide more information on it.

I think there were attempts to patent and claim some of the fundamental data structures and algorithms which bitcoin uses to function. Luckily for us, there hasn't been a legit claim as far as I know. Which could introduce licensing fees for using basic blockchain technology.

The medical industry also is implementing similar blockchain based backend databases. Which they claim is vastly superior to past implementations.

This is good because of one thing; it’s something that is regulated stuff and it will ultimately make the government to look into it. Since the product is highly foreseen by regulatory authorities for its legal use they will have to have the collaborative working with the Cannabis sale company so that they can see if things are not going under the table.

Moreover, with the point of view of data integration in blockchain no one can hold the hand for its data integrity. So yup they are on the right path.

Since it’s mega project both financially and legally it’s gonna benefit a lot.

I believe blockchain is a tool if in the right circles. In my country this is an abuse. Developments in various countries may NEM in other countries be used in other sectors, right? using technology for anonymity I believe all coins?altcoins are used for something useful

If there is anything that this promotes, it is the accountability of companies dealing with products that are still considered a contraband on some countries. In that way, people would at least know where their products ended up to and who possibly bought that and at what date. This ensures that people using it for illegal purposes will have to face trials and possible jail time. Idk why governments aren't seeing blockchain as an opportunity to make companies improve and practice dealings that are beneficial to one and all. I get that the road towards that isn't really that easy but if we are starting to do thing little by little, we might perfect the formula just like what this cannabis company is doing right here.
