Let's be honest, the current price is 1.2-1.3 KSat just a gift! I am sure that the coin has a great future, selling it should not hundreds of thousands, and little by little, almost like gold ) You only see less and less willing to sell at that price. Soon up again!

I hope the dev is reading this site (once in awhile) and laughing at all the garbage here posted by moronic kids.  Do you guys even know how a proper business works, especially one with all the pitfalls of this type of industry in the U.S.A?  Dev is working towards something great here and hopefully it comes to fruition.

I don't see this as a 'traders' coin and sure it will be manipulated/etc. but I find it's a good hold for AWHILE.  Dev knows this too and is in no rush to build something outstanding, he'll be the one enjoying the fruits of his labour (and investment) along with anyone else risking to hold this coin (I say risk not for FUD, but a GOOD reality check because any alt is still a risk), but at least it's a solid bet vs. all the other poor coins out there.  Holding this for 1+yrs would be best but hopefully we'll see results before then.

1 CannabisCoin (CANN) = 1 Gram of "Canndy" Marijuana

That one killed me.  Grin Grin Grin

I am sorry to hear that you are dead.

The 1:1 peg where available is simply a fact.

CANNdy is a supply of meds that consists of strains grown specifically for CannabisCoin purchases and/or strains that can be purchased at the rate of 1 Cannabis Coin (CANN) to approx. 1 GRAM of medication, i.e., any medical marijuana donated into the CANNdy inventory.

Why are you deleting this post

The code is on github and open source.  D9's movements and partners are not open source.

You've already done your attacks and fud attempts.  You need to man up and be transparent about who YOU are so everyone can hold you accountable for your actions in this thread.

Jamie boy still can't get it right.

I put up a brief history back in December, perhaps it is time to repeat it, although the significant information is about a year old:

Quote
In a nutshell, CANN was originally a scrypt coin with a 1% premine and initially planned max coin supply of 500,000,000 (500 Million), released 4/20/14 and was later swapped to the X11 algorithm with a current maximum coin supply of about 92,000,000 (92 Million) coins. Part of this transition involved a coin swap, old for new. To facilitate this enough coins had to be generated in a premine to cover all outstanding scrypt coins, some 21 Million plus coins when the scrypt version was stopped at block 52080, IIRC. These coins had low value at the time and a chunk may even have been mined by the dev but the bottom line is that many were not claimed and simply sent to offline wallets and forgotten about.

Six months after the initial launch the first pegged exchange of 1 CANN = 1 gram took place and coin speculators drove the price of CANN to almost 20K sat (BTC0.00020000) and the boys from cannacoin (CCN) went batshit crazy.

They hung their hats on two facts, namely that there were millions of unexchanged coins still on the block chain and that the 1:1 exchange of the 1% premine represented 5.4% of the new, reduced coin supply.

Unfortunately, in my opinion, ∆9 simply "burned" the majority of the left-over unexchanged coins by sending them to addresses for which there are no private keys, essentially destroying them. I call this unfortunate because I believe ∆9 deserved them as recompense for what he is spending setting up the grow sites and the crops to be donated for CANNdy supply or at least that they be used as a donor fund to supply mmj to patients when CANN inevitably rises to near-parity pricing some time in the future. The noise and distress created by team CCN made this impractical and ∆9 simply eliminated the source of contention (the coins that is, not team CCN).

On the second point, that the 1:1 exchange increased the premine percentage, that would be important if ∆9 was a pump-and-dump scammer attempting to enrich himself at the expense of everyone else. Since he is pouring his own funds into the enterprise and allowing others to enrich themselves from his efforts it becomes a complete non-issue. If he eventually makes money out of the commercial grows and gains from his CANN holding then more power to him, although I suspect he is more likely to donate his CANN than sell it.

Those rascally young fellows from CCN, however, have been relentlessly attempting to spin the above into a portrait of wrongdoing by ∆9. Despite having been told repeatedly they continue to claim they are onto some great scandal and insinuate that ∆9 is somehow trying to defraud the innocent and altruistically-intentioned cryptocurrency community. And if you believe that they'll tell you another.

By way of an update James was given the bum's rush from that team, the majority of whom have publicly distanced themselves from him and his manic bleating (see what I did there? Slipped in a goat reference for James - he apparently likes to imagine himself a goat.).

As you can see, James, along with an occasional accomplice, continues to frantically create sock puppet accounts and breathlessly claim inside knowledge of some dark CannabisCoin secret.

@James:

Once again James since your memory issues are apparently worsening, the YESWECANN account is used by whoever happens to be using a specific work station:

Quote
Quote
This YESWECANN account is used by two to three people at given times.  It includes DeltaNine, ChinoGreen, and Me, "Heather". ...

Now, ∆9 always signs his mod account posts with "~D9" or "~DeltaNine", surely you've seen that. Is it important to know whether a CannTeam post is made by ChinoGreen or Heather? Hardly matters, does it.

I'd hate to know how many times that has been posted for you. If it makes you feel any better then consider it the name of the duty moderator account.

@Everyone:

I propose that rather than trying to reply to James and feeding his mania that everyone use the following code:

Code:
[center]This button is the first step to peace James. Click it to find the help you seek.[/center]

[center][url=https://www.dshs.wa.gov/mental-health-and-addiction-services][img]http://i.imgur.com/rGM0Jx6.png[/img][/url][/center]

If you find it necessary to quote one of his posts to identify why you are reposting the James button then please take a moment to delete his text from the quote. Without the gratification of seeing his inane ramblings he has reduced incentive to post. You may preview the James button here.

Thank you.

Oh my!!!! Is this right?  I truly thought that the total supply would be 420M.  I will update my article on CANN and change it to 92M.  My bad guys!!

Yeah its 92m, you might have gotten it confused with Potcoin which is 420Million coins. Easy mistake

Since you both seem to be a little uncertain about the history here, CANN did start with an initial total supply that was to be 420 million before the hardfork and when it first released. The dev made the decision to switch from scrypto to X11 and reduced the number to something like 120 millionish, cant exactly remember...the info is unknown because there is no pre-X11 blockchain or records of these changes. A few months after the X11 hardfork a 21 million coin premine was discovered by "astute observers" which reduced the coins supply even further to an estimated 92 million coins. The difinitive total isnt exactly known and at this point and I dont think anyone really cares about exact details around here.

If you want more info, read this: http://cointelegraph.com/news/112809/the-full-story-of-cannabiscoins-premine-burn

YESWECANN, you're having a conversation and then deleting the persons posts only leaving yours? Your making things a constant one sided conversation and your statement quoted above is in fact not true.

During the first few months of the project the dev himself was in central control over over 21 million pre-mined coins(this is over 1/5 the total supply of CANN) all while the community was completely unaware, read the article. These type of "forgotten" details dont imply accountability or transparency in anyway and most certainly impact the "decentralized" nature this network.  Lets get this straight, the information about a premine was not made public until someone else OUTSIDE of CANN pointed it out and made the dev accountable for his own either mistakes or wrongdoings. If you or the team are not willing to be accountable for items like this who will and when?

PS. You're still making it confusing to know who is speaking when you have a conversation, care to sign your messages YESWECANN? Simply your putting your alternative bitcointalk usernames will help immensely with the confusion.

Just a nobody.  Read the forum.  Nobody cares about me.  Thx

So you're not willing to identify which person of the team is posting under the YESWECANN name? I'm trying to figure out why this tactic is being used if not to hide from being accountable for the posts made under the YESWECANN name. To me it appears its clearly used for confusion and obscurity, whoever is posting under the name is purposefully hiding their identity.

I think the bigger question is why do you care? They have already said before the whole team uses the account and Delta9 posts his sig when he uses the account to post. No matter which person it is (I'm sure it's just the first one of them who learns the news to share), doesn't change the fact they are a part of the team and remain Anon because there is no real reason for the to state who is posting because the posts are just mainly updates on the coin or Delta. "To me it appears its clearly used for confusion and obscurity" or maybe it's because one account keeps it easy to see official posts and know they are official rather then having to mesmerize 10 different usernames to know when it's legitimate information.

The answer is simple, accountability and transparency.  When information and updates are being presented, who will be accountabile when the information posted turns out to be false or misleading (it has happened more than once)?  It's a simple task to perform and shows forthright trust when the poster is willing to include signature and indentify themselves. This is especially relevant when the YESWECANN username is being used to retalliate against posts it doesn't like (which has been common around here as of late).

It's called "crypto" deal with it.  Didn't you say that in one of your direct msgs to us?  You have the freedom of choice with your investments and beliefs, use it.  Now go find out who is Satoshi for us so we can be further entertained.

The philopsophy of "crypto" that you're speak of also involves the "decentralized" part so yes, it's "crypto".  This project to date is 100% centralized and hence a call for transparency.  The fact that this team argues against transparency so heavily should speak volumes.
Everything about the coin is decentralized and transparent.  What D9 does in his personal business and what he does for the coin outside of the wallet is up to him.  Capeesh?
