As far as I know there is no such facility yet.

I do know there are several charitable people preemptively stockpiling coins against a time when speculators and/or recreational users push CANN toward parity pricing. With CannabisCoin still in the penny range at the moment though CANNdy is still quite affordable where available.

You are correct in thinking that charitable funds/portals should be established/controlled by the dev team as there have been several scam attempts already, particularly through the IRC channel as (an) imposter(s) seek "donations" or "loans" from regular users.

On the topic of how charitable funds could/should be distributed it might be best to arrange that through dispensaries as they are most likely to know and deal with hardship cases. That will help keep funds directed to those with a genuine need and help screen out the scammers seeking to exploit good people's charitable intent. Sadly there are ample examples of people pretending to be or to represent those that are genuinely in need simply to harvest donations out of pure greed and I suspect the kind of portal you describe would be a magnet for those with ill-intent.

Rest assured this has been and will continue to be discussed at length as the most useful and least exploitable solution is sought.

people need to realize how much work is involved in not only running a real-life / true-to-form operation like D9 is doing (with only a bit of help) all on his own, especially in the US where say 75% of the country is against the idea of legalization/etc. but the rest are strongly for it and back it (and growing every day).  

add this to the fact there's the crypto side of the biz he needs to work on and worry about, it's not exactly easy.  this coin at least is backing something legit and worthwhile....and the dev seems to be working hard behind the scenes (sadly most folks here are immature who just want "me me me").  sure you can bitch/moan all you want here for "update this" or "where's the news/pump for that"...how about STFU, buy some CANN sit and hold tight for where it should be going, which is up (if price is all you're worried about).  

sure there may be p&d along the way, but otherwise your btc should be pretty safe i'd say, esp vs. all the other shitcoins out there.  volume will only increase too, which is a good thing...hopefully it's mostly real and not b.s. bots or groups....but for the most part it seems sound. 

Hello.  (to devs) Is there a testimonial site\page\thread where people could post their medical background, a CANN address, and (most importantly) post photos confirming deliveries (PoCANN = Proof of Cann).

Yeah, someone very much shochet below 3 KSat, so stingy to sell Cann.... silly, while the Crave are trying to raise in price. Anybody think that bitcoins go up there... If so, then this is doubly stupid, because there will merge to 2 times the rate for 5 minutes and not blink an eye...

CANN's situation is getting better and better (More contracts, more relationships, more partnerships, more states accepting MJJ (read the news and magazines) ) The wind is at CANN's back. Sadly, most of you "so called" crypto "investors" lack LONG TERM PERSPECTIVE.

Please, DO NOT spread false information about my guys / gals. They are hard working people with real jobs. We are not petty. We do our research and invest and do not watch the Bittrex tickers. That is for gamblers. We will sell CANN at Parity (CANN = 1 gram MJJ)  in 2 years, by our estiments. We can wait.

What 4/20 CannabisCoin announcement? Oh yeah, there hasn't been one (does that qualify as "fake"?).

You mean people who bought 6 million CANN on the Bittrex exchange removed them, perhaps to their personal wallets? My goodness! They might [gasp!] want to keep them!

What can we do? Who can we telephone?

 

You guys are giving Bittrex and Mikes group too much credit. Cann is too large for anyone to really manipulate. All people are doing is buying and placing the coins on the exchange for buy resistance. In a few days they will cancel their orders lighten up the sell load and start placing buy orders hoping for people to panic sell. If you buy on Bittrex send them to Cryptsy and set triggers if you are not using bots. Set buy orders between 3900 and 4000 and wait for bots to dump. The coin will go up. Last year Potcoin pumped until 4/19 then dumped. I don't believe Delta9 wants this to happen to CANN. The Denver festival doesn't start til 18th so keep an eye on the price til then. Im thinking around 10k but could go higher if he does come out with some big news.

Where from would bittrex hsve 28m cann rofl...it's ammount in wallets of users trading on exchange silly.

You also need to put into account bitcoin used to be $650 bucks just last year. Now it is dropping like a rock. $219 today.
I bought Cann calculated previously purchased BTC on 290-250$ and you're in no rush to sell. In the near future will look at motion pictures via BTC if you go out at 160-190 some more, then I will buy CANN. I think it is the right investment of money (profitable ). Many certainly not worth the current price, 5-10 BTC I think, although from the pictures Cann depends. If cheaper, more precisely, maybe 20 BTC. It would seem Cann coins a lot, but wanting to buy her too much, because why the price is not falling. I am very sorry that I had not managed to buy a couple of million..
