You can't trust bittrex and you shouldn't trust any exchange sites because it's simple nothing is impossible. If they don't answer tickets, contact bittrex supporter on slack and they will help you within minute.

Is that really true though? I heard the opposite view about usefulness of their slack.

agree with you even some members still consider bittrex  the dream exchange
so many members still having disabled accounts , same for me I have been waiting their support reply for 16 days now
so either they are ignoring some users on purpose , or they have lack of support team and both of the options suck for a site like bittrex to be honest

this drama with bittrex and poloniex making me learn more and more about EtherDelta

What the F, here I thought every transaction with is very reliable and then when I sought trading coins with them I didn't get anything. When I try contacting them no response coming from bittrex I thought I was the only one experience with this difficulty with them. Sheesh we need to be careful.

Guys, do NOT store coins in any wallet which you do not control. A safe wallet is one where the private keys are controlled, owned and known by you and you alone. As in the case with Bittrex, they control all the keys so there is no way you can access those coins unless and until they unlock these blocked accounts.

There should be a list of errant and rogue exchanges. And they should be advertised and publicly listed for the well being and safety of the bitcoin community's assets. We now have, among others, Yobit and Bittrex as candidates for this list.

Scary and disturbing that nobody knows who owns and controls this exchange. Sending all these ID to a stranger (not to mention the already locked coins) is extremely risky.

Exactly, and spot on.

If you absolutely have to use bittrex make sure that you move your coin out of there as soon as you finish your trading. If you are a day trader you are much better to just download the official wallet software and run it yourself, without having to deal with counterparty risk.

Bittrex recently have seen a surge of blocked accounts and withdrawals, and it shouldn't come as a surprise to you.

Yes I have had enhanced verification since day 1 of my registration and it got disabled 3 days ago

I have some questions to ask you:

First question: What country are you from?

Second question: what document did you use to verify your account? I mean, did you use a passport or did you use another document?

Third question: what was your balance and how much money did you have in your account? You do not have to tell me the exact value, just say the minimum value.

Fourth question: did you log in with multiple devices or was it just a single device?

i used passport to verify my account . i have about 10 BTC balance value . and i log in with only 1 device but i havent static ip.

Do not look strange to, that three first poster  created yesterday in same hour? Smiley

Sry. Next time we will register ten years before our accounts get blocked. I see absolutely no reason why someone should register on a bitcoin discussion forum after someone steals their bitcoins. Doesnt make any sense, I know.

I am from Germany, most I had stored on bittrex was a bit over 1 btc, luckily withdrew most of it before they got hacked and started panicking. The day they stole my money I had about 100 USD worth of coins stored there.

well that's really weird then , if they have your account already verified why they want you to enable it again by sending the same info that they already have ??
are they suspecting that members are using fake IDs or what ?? this move by bittrex doesn't make sense at all and they haven't explained it

mind sharing what country you are from ?? I heard that all the members who got disabled accounts are from countries that aren't good with the US

honestly I don't know what's going on , but are you sure they disabled accounts that have enhanced verification too ??
mine was disabled , but I only have basic verification contacted support and they replied this morning with the same spammy email that they are sending to everyone

like they are saying that you need to wait 24 hours and to have basic verification , well I waited over than that and I already have basic verification
also my account has 0$ in value , so the over 1000$ thing doesn't make sense to me

I'm ok with verification but this move by bittrex is really fishy , they haven't even said anything on twitter

I have read about so many bad reviews about bittrex recently, though my account has never been compromised.

Same goes with me. I have been using their exchange for some time now, and i never faced any problems personally, but there has been a lot of complains against their services lately, which really makes it suspicious for me too. Because if only one or two persons blame a service, we can think that they might be doing this for making it look bad, but when more people start to blame it, it makes you feel like it is the truth, because not everyone would want to ruin their reputation like this.
