All articles read by me are saying this "Velvet Fork’ would enable Litecoin to use smart contracts of Cardano's type but what ADA could get in return? Is any new feature foreseeing that would be valuable for Cardano after Velvet Fork? And why Litecoin was chosen? Wouldn't it be better to cooperate with the newest blockchains such as Polcadot? Blockchain of Litecoin is quite clumsy.

You are very lucky to have bought these tokens back in 2018 and I agree that now is not the time to sell.

Cardano and Litecoin are working on a Crypto collaboration (‘Velvet Fork’ Partnership ) so maybe we see price increase in both coins.

This collaboration will test cross chain communication between the 2 crypto currencies.

Good to you! I would suggest staking them into a pool if you don't want to sell them. It will give you ~5.5% ADA yearly.

I can not give you a accurate Time Frame but I do also think it wont be in next 2 years.

Never say never. If a nice bull run will came, I think ADA will go above the previous ATH, since now is a mature project, back in the days was just "an idea".

But we also need to remember that Cardano has a plan to become next financial system of the world
This is the goal, and no to make short-term traders reach
I'm confident in the long-term level of ADA price!

There is no need to keep Daedalus wallet open to stake ADA. I open it every five days to see reward for the past epoch and then keep it closed. What I’m getting right now is about l 5,5 % annual. Some people say one can get even more if you don’t sit still but hop from pool to pool choosing those with more blocks. However I think this is likely to be the bad practice as you never know what pool take a lead in coming epochs.

I didn't understand what are you asking there is no need to keep open the wallet for staking purpose. Especially exchange this process is more smooth and you will get reward on base of your staking tokens.

But what the point is in staking there if you can not choose the pool by yourselves. Staking from wallet installed on home computer allows to get maximum reward by selecting correct pool. Not all pools are always online, some of them are saturated and all those things result in reward reducing. Some tips to pick up a pool for staking were given by me in that thread. Yeah, those tips were posted when all staking activity was on testnet. Now we we have Shelly and for almost 3 months are getting reward for staking on mainnet but the most of them are still relevant.
