Early next year in January 2023 Cardano is going to release a regulated Stablecoin called 'Djed'. It will be fiat backed and compliant with all regulations.
I wonder how it will compete with other more known stable coins like USDT, USD Coin, and Binance USD. Maybe I will HODL a few of them to add to my small portfolio of USDT.

The Cardano team says that everything is ready for the new Vasil hard fork this month, which is scheduled for September 22, which marks the transition of the main Cardano network to the Basho era. The Vasil update will include a number of improvements and optimizations, including a customized Plutus interpreter and a new cost model, all of which are ultimately part of the Plutus V2 Vasil hard fork.

^ ICO seem very odd. ADA is more for SPO afaik.
i really don't see projects using ADA's smart contract that is above the rank of CMC. if they can't make it there, ADA will still be a project that may not surface to be adopted by majority. in muesliswap, most of the tokens i see are defi projects never been heard before.

i think that is changing as larger teams and bigger players come to Cardano. The state of smart contracts on there is reaching critical mass where the chain can support some really cool and complex apps finally.
BTW, the last token sale on LCX was NFT Maker for their NMKR token (another Cardano based project). they are a big NFT project on Cardano and have around 50% of the NFT minting market share on Cardano (as in people are using their minting service as it is the most robust). That ICO did 10x from the sale price. I made bank on that one.

My eyes into Ada for the long-time investment. But I am waiting to fill up my order, Hope someone will dump his coin. Currently per Ada price is $1.27, My placed orders are between $1.01-$1.25. My chart also tells me that Ada will dump soon. At a 4houres time frame, $1 per Ada is strong support, so I am buying above this price. My 4houres chart is here:
