Cardano Foundation enlist FP Complete for independent 3rd Party Audit of Cardano Blockchain

Development specialists will provide comprehensive review of Cardano’s code and technical documentation

Zug, Switzerland, 24 January 2018 - Cardano Foundation, the objective organisation supporting leading blockchain Cardano, has appointed FP Complete, an IT engineering specialist, to provide an independent audit of the engineering work completed by Cardano’s development team, IOHK, and to make recommendations for further audited improvements to the Cardano blockchain protocol.

Founded by former head of Microsoft’s own in-house engineering tools, Aaron Contorer, FP Complete is the world’s leading supplier of commercial-grade tools and engineering for Haskell – the functional programming language used to build Cardano’s third generation blockchain protocol. As part of the retained agreement, FP Complete will perform a code review to examine the quality of the Cardano software, with a focus on robustness, security and auditability.

The firm will also complete a review of Cardano’s technical documentation and operating procedures, enabling IOHK to use this ongoing work to optimize the engineering methods, tools, and coding standards used to implement Cardano. This approach to development is unique and demonstrates Cardano’s commitment to innovation and technical rigour.

From February, Cardano Foundation and FP Complete will produce regular reports that will be shared with the community detailing the results of the audit findings. This is an approach that meets with the Cardano project’s aims for transparency and Cardano Foundation’s objective to standardise, protect and promote the Cardano Protocol technology.

Roadmap is coming

Cardano it is very attractive project. But my view that it had huge capitalization since start and we could not await many x from Cardano. But price will be growing, slow and stable. Looking for new projects on the Cardano blockchain, it could be more attractive for investments then core Cardano coin.

Cardano's version of the blockchain is 3.0 and it works with lags, at least for now. That did not stop Cardano to be in 5th place and continue climbing, it is one of the top currencies for investing in 2018 in my opinion.

If you keep your cardano on the exchange everything is pretty good. But here with a purse not all so is smooth. There is a version only for 64 bit sysmem windows. Also, the client takes up a lot of hard disk space and draws a lot of system resources. I would like to see an easy version of wallet.

Cardano's whitepaper is one of the best I've seen. A must read!

I'm trying to find the official ANN page of Cardano in Bitcointalk. Looks like there is none.  $17B market cap for such a very short time is impressive.

Bought at .40, sold at 1.20.  Could have done better but I'll never complain about 300% profit.

The developer has nothing to do with this. Someone just took it upon themselves to add it. Cardano doesn't have any official threads on bitcointalk.

I do not really understand what the developer wants to do with this post? Is this advertising company Cardano? Is there a bounty company? If Cardano is known and well traded, then why does he need advertising here?

How can the largest exchange that ADA is trading on have its wallet down for 4 days?  I'm beginning to wonder if there is an issue with being hacked or a critical bug being found.
