I'm bumping this again.

Did carra23 contact you to join a campaign?

Quote from: bigtimespaghetti (green trusted user)
Hi marco, yes carra23 got in touch to join.

What I want to know is: may a campaign manager 'recruit' participants? If allowed, I'm sure many would (I would with a few users).

EDIT: I'll make a meta thread.

Just to clarify, I was specifically banned recently for 'insubstantial posts' and having a sig campaign was the reason for the ban (I assume). I posted on this on my silver bar thread here, due to this fact I didn't consider the message unsolicited I just thought it relevant to recent events on my account. Generally I do not report any messages I receive as unsolicited unless it is an outright scam.

Any communication like this contains some risk I suppose (of being reported), if a long standing member wishes to take that risk then I'm not sure it's a problem.

Frankly I don't like being in the middle of something like this, but I wanted to post my take on it.

Alright thanks for the input Smiley

People enrolled in the Signature campaign might want to request a payout now as well. I don't see people getting paid if the site is down. Carra would probably just keep the funds , or end it here.

I would assume that they would pay out and end the program since no more funds from users are available to pay out everyone for another month, we'll see.
The decision is pretty obvious. I am just waiting for Carra to take one https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.10117300

I am not sure the issue is here..

-Grabbing people with good reps is a smart move

Smart, sure, but it also leads people to be rightfully suspicious. I think he's likely trying to buy/acquire some positive feedback so I'm guessing that's why they were headhunted and I think people often look at this type of behaviour with concern. It's definitely worth making people aware of and keeping an eye on that's for sure.

This is possible. As there is some problem not having enough trade history, he may have trying to increase his trust. Let's wait for the payment day and check whether he pays or not.

And, both persons regarding Cryptomine is offline for some days now. Anybody got there payment(mining)?

No, Cryptomine.io doesn't pay to customers from Jan 7th.
That's why this tread becomes more actual Smiley

Its the 3rd day today . has there been no update at all?

Not yet. No news on site, no answers from support.
User Cryptomine not logged on forum from Jan 3.
But Carra23 appeared in their main tread.

I saw earlier today here that there were some problems, and I mailed asking him to respond here. I have yet to receive a reply.
For now I will assume its due to the weekend and wait till Monday to see whats the status.

Well if it does end as a scam, then I am sure the enrolled members won't complain as they already have enough warning.
Another aspect of this that strikes to me as fishy, is Cryptomine itself being ok with all decisions carra makes on his own.
Just because of the sig campaign, cryptomine lost on a lot of customers and if they were legit, they would immediately use a trusted escrow.

it isnt about the enrolling member, more importantly about the community

community tend to think high rank member and green trust dont advertise a scam this will lead more customer to cryptomine, which is a good advertisement, but how if cryptomine turn out to be a scam?that will damage the community

They have built a sense of trust already but for me its likely to end up as a scam.
