Hello, do you have more info on the  "20x 1btc silver coins" roll? exact type of coin, price and so on?

I believe they are 2013 Casascius 1BTC all-silver coins. fully sealed tube, never opened. Located in USA.
Not sure if the price is as 'good' as for the other rolls, as the seller isn't actively looking to sell. For an extra fee, I can have all coins delivered graded by ANACS. Think close to 2BTC per coin.

Habsbear, is this your roll?
If so, I dont mean to piggyback on you.

Anyway, I thought this is the place to say that I have access to unopened rolls of
20x 1btc silver coins
50x 0.5btc brass coins
50x 1btc 2013 brass coins (top has been opened but only 2 or 3 coins have ever been removed)

{BULK} prices can be negotiated on these, less than eBay  Grin   Enough to make money reselling  Wink

How much does the increase in spot price lower the BTC offering multiple/premium for these coins?

Most if not all of us still think about the value of these coins in fiat terms, as much as we shouldn't in the spirit of the bitcoin project.

I agree that prices for these brass singles has come down, I wonder how much of that is an increase in spot price as opposed to real reduction in demand. I don't see any fewer deals going on here, but "I don't see" is quite subjective.

Given the tendency of Cas brass to go for 1.25-1.4 lately, I think 1.57 is a bit high.   I could see you getting 1.4 each considering the roll is unopened.

Agreed, amazed that he opened the roll. Any extra value that it had is now gone and it is just a pile of 2013 brass singles... Then again not many are willing to drop that kind of coins all at once either.

I have seen this listing on eBay do a while now. I think if it was reasonably priced then it'd probably have sold by now. 1.57BTC per coin is quite a premium. Coins sold on here have recently been demanding much less of a premium although that may be down to the fact that there have been quite a few listed for sale.

I thought it was 100 coins!

120 btc for the lot seems fair to me.

Its only 50 coins but if you are willing to go to 120 i will resell them to you LC  Grin

I have seen the guy selling it for over 9 months price is descent because they are from a roll and would get a nice grade  but 100 k through the mail  Shocked better take a flight to Romania and pick it up.

Good point - I should offer to serve as escrow!  Grin Cheesy Wink

Thats crazy right now with premiums where they are at.  1.57/each  for all 100 coins.  I guess if you are looking for a bulk amount but i would want a discount if im buying 100 of them not pay a premium over current value.  My 2 satoshis

The roll is for 50 coins, not 100.

120 btc for the lot seems fair to me.

I can arrange this for you, just let me talk to my guy and arrange shipping. PM me your details. We'll likely need 80 btc up front to serve as a good faith deposit, to reserve the lot. I'll draw up a legally binding contract (no charge of course) to facilite payment and shipping transfer. Let's get this started, PM me!

100% Deposit Match UP TO €5000!
This person probably did some damage to the coins by opening the roll and presenting them like that for the photo. I find it a bit weird how people always reference bitcoin prices, when this is being sold for a fiat amount. Depending on when it was bought, it could have been less than $50 per coin and now it is selling for $1,500+ per coin. Not that I blame the seller for trying to get the best price possible, but it needs to be put in perspective..

I think the seller could have gotten a higher premium if they left the roll sealed,

I never knew that paypal could process transactions that big, I think that is pretty cool.

Oh boy, that's a load of Casascius!

Good luck to him selling them at once.

I'd sell em in small batches, by now they'd be gone.

In bitcoin terms, BTC1.57 isn't much more than Mike charged for these coins "from the mint"...he charged about BTC1.25-1.30.

There are plenty of people who have far more than the ~80 bitcoin needed to cover the asking price. More people than you think have 100s and 1000s of bitcoin.

Just looking for peace
That's amazing but given the prize right now its hard to buy

1.57 BTC per coin is ok , not very good , not very bad
But if these are unopened , might fetch good grades

EDIT : nvm the roll seems to be opened but damn those are shiny
