Cool..thanks for the list

Pleasure. Just visited your website. Beautiful. (Though I didn't see any mention of some of  the Casascius denominations e.g. the 0.1 silver...)

Thanks..i basically list what I have in my collection..so I do not have the 0.1 silver yet

Looks like a bunch of USD sales were added... are these all from ebay? Or private party? Remember ebay/paypal take ~10% off the top.

Hi. They are based on the private sale info that was kindly supplied to me by a forum member (as mentioned at the head of the main post). Auction prices on this forum are obviously still the best indication of the market as they are public and verifiable.

Thanks yes there are no silver 5s. (All nickel plated brass). But why do some appear silvery whilst others appear brassy?

Got it. Brass hologram on the series 1. Silvery on the series 2. .

These are all the auction sales I could find on the forum this year,  except I have not bothered with all of the 0.5 brass sales since I was getting bored. All prices in BTC.  I didn't find any sales of the 5 BTC, but remarkably there have been two 25's sold this year. Will update in a couple of months. Hope you all find it interesting.

Great info. Thanks for putting this together!

To add... I auctioned a couple 5BTC bitnickels back in March: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--1820401

Thanks. Added. Were these definitely brass? I thought all the 5 BTCs were silver. Also was not aware that the early ones also has the error. Do you have mintage figures? (the buyer got a bargain on that one!)

All Cas 5BTC coins are nickel-plated brass. No silver version

Mintage figures for most Cas coins can be found here: https://coinfirm.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Casascius-eBook-Plus-2.pdf

Many thanks for the link. I have the encyclopedia on order :-)

My bad.  They are all nickel plated brass. What is a bit confusing though is that  some appear brass-looking in photos whilst others appear silver looking. Does anybody know why?

It's a very interesting idea. Someone should make it into a spreadsheet, and add the price of bitcoin over time next to it.
Be great to see how premiums reduce with BTC price going up, in certain instances more, others less.

Well done anyway!
