Yep agree, a personal crypto courier is the way to go or thru MJ for sure.

Not sure why we are calling Cas coins carcasses all of a sudden, but let them keep on peeling...makes the loaded ones more rarer  Wink

This made me laugh out loud, as I've never thought of it till now TBH.. Grin

And yes, keep peeling 'em boys - Where did the ebay listing go? Roll Eyes

Looks like it was pulled.....Either ebay or the seller. Insane low price at that. Smelled like a scam regardless.

yea he deleted it about a week ago - I mentioned that above on the 14th.

Ffs kids..
[ Seller account 100% feedback, since 2005 ]
(You can even see purchase history of the same item back in 2013)

This won't work.

If you actually have the coin and want to sell it, arrange to do an auction here with a well known escrow such as minerjones.

OP should peel and claim the btc himself - auction carcass. Zero % chance I’m shipping 90k anywhere

these are the times where a courier and escrow should be used. he has deleted the listing anyways.

I have been scammed on a listing that looked alot like one of these before, coin comes from a faw away country, seller has little to no feedback.

Seller will try to get you off ebay to telegram where he will offer the coin at a discounted good deal type price, will accept crypto as payment.

Seller will ship an empty box and steal your bitcoin if you send any.

only run this through escrow, do not get scammed on something like this

I would only run this through MJ, I would never trust these random no name no reputation ebay sellers for anything.

How is it a lot like this if my seller account there is since 2005 with 100% feedback.  At this point you guys are just rambling for the sake of it.

I am 90% certain this dude is a scammer.

In fact, I think this is the exact guy who scammed me back in 2023.

He is running the same kind of shady scam operation, with slightly differing details.

I understand the concern.  Well, can sell it through escrow here, if anyone asks for it.  Reach out if serious.  Thanks.

and per chance - what would you do if the auction doesn't get anywhere near the value of the coin? say it stops at 10k? you really going to sell it for 10k? or would you just peel it and send a redeemed coin? or not send it at all? there is a lot of risk to someone buying it this way as ebay will not insure/cover the "load" value.

Wonder what ebay would say about the item arriving "damaged" or not as described? I know ebay is super hit or miss on buyer protection, but it seems like if you filmed yourself opening it and all that you might have a shot at getting a refund based off the sticker being "Destroyed"?

Just spit balling here, I would kill to buy it at that price but also don't have faith it would show up funded either lmao.

I am not referring to the specific case of the seller (I do not want to accuse or speculate on anyone).

I have seen many times on ebay:
The accounts were registered with stolen/dummy documents
A seller receives this amount.
He withdraws/removes the funds from this bank account.
Even if ebay sends the account into the negative/red nothing happens.
The buyer is not reimbursed because ebay cannot attack the funds.

There is a similar scam where instead the buyer is the "attacker" but in practice when the seller tries to recover (legitimately) from him... ebay finds the account empty and it's all gone.

Now, in this specific auction, if the loaded item COULD NOT be sold on ebay, the listing will simply be closed or in case of disputes it will be a great pain for the buyer...

my guess is that if the auction ended at under the actual value - they would reneg and end the auction/cancel it or w/e you wanna call it.

and they may even use some alt accounts to shill bid it up. eBay is famous for that. accounts with 100% bidding history with one seller - the seller of current auction.

Nobody in their right mind would risk that being shipped from Saudi Arabia.
Agree, there is no way I would risk buying this with USD. Something isn’t right.

I guess on the plus side the address is still active https://casascius.uberbills.com/?address=1Ag5RdMMSdYNJeeNjuTQdcKpc5rgg3mY6R

The downside is the item is located in Saudi Arabia for anyone that is going to buy it.

I wouldn’t call that a downside buddy.
its a downside because the feds cant come to your house and kick in your door if you dont send the coin. If you truly want to sell it your going to have to use escrow like MJ here in the states.
