Not really it is as you analyze it, if you bet $100,000 and lose it, a 20% rakeback is good enough to ignore, or you are not interested it(!?).

I'd go with bonuses since I only gamble with a small bankroll which means cashback doesn't give that much compared to what i've been getting from bonuses. Cashback pays off especially if you invest very large/larger sums and lose them (although I honestly can't imagine a casino doing that at all). With small sums, of course, this advantage disappears and even a cashback would be so little in your situation that you would most likely continue playing with it.
