The famous bitcoin casino faucets are basically starting to get phased out. This is largely due to the massive bull-run of 2017 which resulted in many people who started to abuse the faucets and basically tried to get 9900x wins without ever making a single deposit.

I think some gambling site did an investigation and found that it was only 1% of all faucet users that caused massive abuse and took 99% of all the faucet profits. I think they had a script that automatically solved the captcha and tried to do some few lucky rolls which would make enough to make a min. withdraw. The admins had to step in and manually start reviewing deposits from people who requsted a withdraw but never made a deposit. And eventually if they caught someone, they never allowed the withdraw to go thru.

Faucets should only be to test out the site, like the features and speed without having to go thru the hassle of making a deposit. However they were never a way to earn a living off.

I believe that a faucet gives you the opportunity to test the game, and frankly, should not be a source of profit. I agree with this. Normally you have to wager over 1 BTC (and in some cases over 10 BTC) to have the right to claim something bigger than 100 satoshis from the faucet. Like people say in this thread it's a waste of time because your chances to win anything bigger than $1 are close to zero. But on the other hand it's a good opportunity to try your strategies to see that they always fail in the long run. It's pity that gamblers rarely use that opportunity and start playing with their money right away, losing in most cases.

I agree. It's pretty pointless. It never use to be though when Bitcoin was low in value like under 3k. Fees were so low so it made sense. Now it's pointless. I think sites should take Bitcoin faucets away and replace them will altcoin faucets only since they make much more sense. Also will boost altcoins so I really wish people would do it more.

It was pointless even when Bitcoin transaction fees were small because there's always a minimum amount which you can withdraw. Back in the days it was around $3 and don't forget that 100 satoshis then were not as 100 satoshis now. So reaching the amount you can withdraw starting from the faucet was almost impossible. I did succeed in that couple of times though.

I have now account in PrimeDice and also in bustadice but i can't play due to empty balance, i encountered gambling site that have a faucet that you may claim this if your balance is empty then start again betting with 10 satoshi's free and it is PrimeDice. But mostly in gambling site now sadly there's no faucet due to high transaction fee of bitcoin. The suggestion of other gamblers now was right i think much better they used altcoins aside from bitcoin in betting of gambling site and for having a faucet because altcoins lower fees than bitcoin.

Tbh it's a bit rare to find a casino that have a big faucet nowdays, they reduced the faucet to 100 sats or even less. Popular site like stake.com give their users 100sats 20x claim faucets for each day.
