Please deinstall driver with, DDU and after that, reinstall blockchain driver.
If Win10, you must deactivate with reg or group policy updating drivers from Windows Update, because it will update automaticly your driver

I'm running a Vega 56 with stock BIOS.   Using Cast I have achieved a steady 1956 H/s for more than 24 hours sometimes.  Other times it will drop to 1700ish and will require a restart of the miner and sometimes reapplying the OverdriveNTool settings.  I am thinking of putting in an auto restart every hour or two and see how that goes.

was there a max for how many vegas on cast xmr? was it 4?

I'm having similar speed issues to what several others are seeing:

When I START the application, I get a tight grouping of speeds between ~2030 H/s - quite consistent.

After a few minutes, the rate drops to ~1850 H/s, and stays there until I restart the app.

When I restart it, it goes back to 2030 H/s for a few minutes, before dropping again.

I am **ALSO** having inconsistency between my the reported hashrate in the application window, and the rate reported by SupportXMR.com. I'll wait a full 24 hours before being picky about that, though.

I'd REALLY like a way to get those last 200 H/s to work consistently! Has anyone else been able to sustain 2000+ consistently for the day?

Thanks,

R

PS> I'm running an MSI Vega56 with the 64LC bios, watercooled around 43 degrees max, core -30% at 950mv, HBM at 1100Mhz 905mv. Power limit raises or drops the hashrate a bit, but the card stars getting coil whine if I drop the power limit so I leave it at 0.

Actually, HBCC does nothing.

Take a look at this solution for fixing the hashrate in multiple vegas at the same time when it drops down for any reason:

https[Suspicious link removed] is downloaded from a cab from Microsoft as shown here:

EDIT: too bad, look for what Mythic posted 27th october in "Any word on amd vega hash rates?" thread

Is it normal to have such drops of the hashrate? Any idea what is causing em and how to fix?

I unfortunately keep on running into an issue which after an undetermined period of time, the miner ceases to send shares to Dwarfpool despite the fact that it appears to remain active given the active workload on GPU/MEM and terminal reporting accepted shares  as usual.  Has anyone experienced this?

when will miningpoolhub pool supported?

Simply, I just followed those rules.
No mods at all. Just HBCC and Core freq + mem clock + power limit as I wore last time.
If it doesn't work go do device manager, disable and enable card again - it was said somewhere before in this topic Wink

Hi, I have 2 x V56 and I went exact gandalph300 tutorial:
    Core Frequency: -4%
    Memory Clock: 945 MHz
    Power Limit: -10%
    Stock BIOS

And that gives me about 1940H/s per card and that's awesome!
But I got ~80watts@wall when idle and ~420watts@wall when mining. It seems these values are high.
What should I do to lower my watt usage?

How did you get 1940H/s with stock bios and without reg mod?
Mine 56 is flashed and can't do more than 1200 because it's not stable after reg modding.

Is it usual for polaris to say blockchain drivers not detected? Not getting near 800H/s on my 580s

I'm running 3x 580s and 2x vega56 with blockchain driver. All of my 580s are doing more then 800 h/s:

[Hash Rate Avg: 6385.5 H/s]
  851.1 H/s GPU0
  862.5 H/s GPU1
  878.1 H/s GPU2
  1946.5 H/s GPU3
  1847.3 H/s GPU4

I'm using cast-xmr just since yesterday and it's pretty awsome!

Thanks I'm reinstalling now. You are brave mixing vega and polaris. The vega drivers are buggy enough on their own.

It already costs me several hour to find a proper setup. I wasn't aware that the combination of vega and rx 580 (polaris) in one rig can be tricky at all. I also tried the new October drivers (17.7.2 and 17.7.3) but went back to the blockchain driver. For the moment it's running quite good, but I will setup another rig to separate both GPU types. I guess it makes more sense with less stress...

Nevertheless, I already have 5% outdated shares within 18h. What I read here this is too high. I'm looking forward for a new release, but I'm happy that vega and polaris can be used in one rig.

I had 7 580 rig stable until I installed blockchain drivers. Now it's very unstable. Looking forward to the next update.

I have 2 580s, 3 570s, and one Vega 56

[Hash Rate Avg: 5682.5 H/s]
  757.9 H/s GPU0
  814.6 H/s GPU1
  740.5 H/s GPU2
  660.7 H/s GPU3
  757.7 H/s GPU4
  1951.1 H/s GPU5

GPU3 is a new 570 that I haven't tuned yet.  I'm running Anorak's power saving BIOS on all RXs because I was dual mining ETH and DCR.  I may switch to the regular BIOS if I can gain 5-10% more hash.

NiceHash has been killing it since Thursday/Friday last week.  Profit was starting to drop over the weekend but it's picking up again.  I hope it stays like this for weeks and months.

I still don't understand why this is happening, are people overpaying on their mining orders through NiceHash?

The Electroneum [ETN] mining spree happened. It was very profitable on Thursday and Friday, so people started increasing their bids and competing for hash power Wink

Are you using blockchain driver? If not then yeah it is normal, for my polaris rig I prefer not to use it since it won't let me to configure memory clock somehow

I am using blockchain drivers. Just want someone to confirm before I go through reinstalling drivers.
