Trying to run the new ver 1.3, but on my desktop with only a RX 580 in it, it says compute mode not enabled, but in AMD settings compute mode is enabled.  Same thing on rig.  I have a 9 card rig with mixture of 570s and 480s, and on both the 570s this version says compute mode not enabled, but again, it is.  Version 1.0 ran fine on both machines.  Any ideas?

I cannot get any version past 1.0.0 to work without crashing.  I was hoping to try some of the new coins but I'm back to monero.  I see in other posts that many are having similar issues.  Has anyone been able to get 1.2.0 or later versions working?

Try a little deductive reasoning.  In 1.1.0 --intensity was added, play with it until its stable.

Hi everybody,

I just want to give a small headsup to everyone using this miner (on Vega rigs, but probably the issue is more wide-spread)

Pay good attention to miner reported hashrate and actual hashes counted by the pool. I have encountered issue with SRBminer and CAST XMR where a miner reports 2KH/s per vega, or 12KH/s for 6x vega rig, but pool effective hashrate can be up to 20% lower. This issue is not existing on STAK miner, where the hashes (averaged over several days, not talking about instant hashrate!) are counted correct, so STAK even with crappy hashrate is having better performance than CAST or SRB. After several days, 2 identical miners can have big difference in total hashes, which went to almost 20% on my best and worst miner.

Right now I am testing another closed-source miner and it seems to count the hashes correctly.

Please don't start to explain to me about hashrate fluctuations and similar crap, I am not using this miner for different reasons so for this one I don't have screenshots and proofs - consider this just a heads up, ,  not to get blinded by miner hashrate, but pay attention what to pool reports, as it is not miner that pays you.

Wow thanks for making your 31st post on this forum, about this particular topic. You are so wise, and I have to ask myself, how after all this time you might be the first person to ever think about this. You are so smart please continue to share your huge and super deep ideas about mining here, so helpful really.

Thanks for exposing this, as what would we do without totally freaking noobs like you??!?!?

Everything works fine for me.  Actually my pool reported hashrate is always higher than my miner reported rate.  Good luck narrowing down your problems.

I am not starting to explain any crap, do not worry.   Grin
I do not know what pools you use, but if you are short of 20%, change pools. That is it.

I have been using Cast for over 7 months and one thing is, on good pools, it almost always get me the same if not better hash rate that I get on the miner, except for a few pools.
The good ones that I have found so far and give me the right hash rate or few % better: Nanopool, MinersRock, Cryptonight.cc .

Hashvault,Bhoemian pool or Fairpool or other crap pools that have 0,1% fees only, which I have used for Sumo or ETN in the past, they always came short of 15/20%.

Been using  the latest version  since the last 2 days, because of bittube fork.

Config: 3X RX570 4GB, display GPU has a CN v7 kind of bios, the others have an ETH bios.
win 10 X64 build 1803, latest AMD driver (18.6.1)
Display GPU intensity: 3 (I use the PC while mining), other GPUs: 6
330W at the wall
1920H/s for bittube CN heavy variation.

I get 3000 not 2000.

Enable hbcc

I get 6000 with two vega...

It is a hbcc trick .

Now I insert a new vega and not working anymore I remove and now I have only two but I reach only 1800.

I need to delete any registry? Or I need to reinstall windows?

Provide screen shots please. Else... you lie.

He's not lying he's just stupid.  It is an old visual bug that doesn't show any benefit pool side.

Hi glph3k,

Im using the 110 version of your miner. This is very stable , after this version i have some hangs.

When i start up the miner, it show me an rx560 on gpu9.

I have one connected but is mining using claymore.

Analysing the Hashes is working like an rx580. So is fine i think. What could this be? error in enumerating the devices? i only discover this today, maybe im mining in this way for weeks. Smiley

Im using last 18.6.1 drivers, but wiht 18.5.x i got the same problem!

Regards

I also have problems with versions later than 1.1, after that it only starts 2 of my 5 cards.

And I also think its related to enumerating, as im running a dual CPU board and the 3 cards that dont start have negative IDs.

Dont know,
you are the only one to get 3000h/s on a single Vega, no else has got that much.
Please tell us how to do it,
hbcc doesnt do anything for the rest of.
Maybe you are special,
maybe you made a mistake?

isn't Graft v7?  You should only be getting around 2000 hash per vega.
